Slipknot have announced that Knotfest Los Angeles will be taking place at Banc of California Stadium on Friday, November 5th and also postponed two other Knotfest events.

The Los Angeles festival will feature a headline performance from Slipknot and will also feature sets from Bring Me The Horizon, Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, Code Orange and Vended, with a special guest appearance from Cherry Bombs. (read more)


Chevelle have announced that they will hitting the road for a U.S. headline tour this fall in support of their brand new studio album, "Niratias".

The tour is set to launch on September 1st in Kansas City, MO at the Uptown Theater and will be concluding on November 21st in Pittsburgh, PA at Stage AE. (read more)


The legendary Steely Dan have announced that they will be returning to the stage this fall when they launch their Absolutely Normal Tour '21 of the United States.

The trek will be kicking off with a four night stand at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, FL on October 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th. (read more)


Los Angeles rockers Dead Sara have announced that they will be hitting the road at the end of the summer to launch their first tour in almost three years.

They will be kicking things off with an appearance at this year's Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI on September 17th, followed by the launch of their headline tour. (read more)


The 50th anniversary of The Who's "Who's Next" album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

The show's host Redbeard had this to say, "For the golden anniversary of Who's Next by The Who, ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as the #28 rock album of all time, this August 1971 absolute musical masterpiece is mated with an incredibly illuminating classic rock interview with its composer, Pete Townshend, here In the Studio featuring the songs 'Baba O'Riley','Bargain','Behind Blue Eyes','Goin' Mobile','Gettin' in Tune', and 'Won't Get Fooled Again'. JUNO Award-winning band Walk Off The Earth have released their brand new sixth studio album, "Meet You There", across all digital music platforms.

One of the highlights of the album is the new single, "Love You Right", which features a guest appearance Lukas Graham and has already been streamed over a million times in under a week. (read more)


The music of late legendary Reo Speedwagon guitarist Gary Richrath lives on with as part of Richrath Project 3:13, and their brand new album, 'L.A. Is Mine,' which is set to arrive on August 6th.

We were sent the following details: The band's singer/guitarist, MICHAEL JAHNZ, explains the song's creation. "Written by Gary Richrath, I added my own personality to the song in the arrangement. This is a song that Gary and I worked on and ultimately recorded demos of, in my studio here in the Milwaukee area. My current sound engineer was able to isolate Gary's guitar tracks from our demos all those years ago and my current band rounded out the recording of 'Help Me Save Me from Myself.' With myself singing lead and Gary's original background vocals added from our demo, I added many different harmonies with my new background vocals to really give it a great sound, the results of which I'm really proud of." Japan/Ireland alternative rockers Clarity recently released their new EP "In The Light Of Lies Pt. 2" and to celebrate we have asked vocalist Andy Kavanagh to tell us about the song "Serenade". Here is the story:

All of the songs across both parts of 'In the Light of Lies' were written during a really emotionally turbulent time in my life. I was dealing with the consequences of a lot of awful behavior, and it felt even worse for how childish it all was. (read more)
