Wolfgang Van Halen's Mammoth WVH and Dirty Honey have announced that they will be teaming up for the North American Young Guns Tour.

The 30-date coheadlining trek will be kicking off on January 21st in Chicago at the House of Blues and will conclude on March 5th in indo, Ca at the Fantasy Casino. (read more)


(hennemusic) Bob Seger and his wife were uninjured in an early morning fire at their Michigan home on Halloween morning. According to The Detroit News, smoke detectors alerted the couple to the incident at their Orchard Lake Village residence before firefighters arrived to deal with the issue, which was confined to a chimney flue off the family room, investigators said Monday.

"The homeowners were present," said West Bloomfield Township fire inspector Dave Goff, when an alarm sounded around 6 a.m. and smoke was discovered erupting from an electrical outlet. (read more)


NEEDTOBREATHE, Switchfoot and Judah have teamed up for a brand new track called "Hometown Christmas" that is available exclusively through Amazon Music.

The band took to social media to share the news. They wrote on Facebook, "Merry early Christmas! We got together with our friends Switchfoot and JUDAH. and wrote a brand new Christmas song for Amazon Music! You can check out 'Hometown Christmas' now!" (read more)


Halestorm have shared an unplugged version of their latest single "Back From The Dead" and have also announced that they will doing a special concert stream next month.

The new unplugged recording comes as the original version of "Back From The Dead" earned the band their 6th No. 1 at Rock Radio, and is the first track they have revealed from their forthcoming album. (read more)


Megadeth have shared a video for their performance of "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due," which comes from the box set version of thei forthcoming live package.

The new package, entitled "A Night In Buenos Aires", was captured during the band's 2005 stadium performance, and is set to be released in various formats that will include special liner notes from Dave Mustaine on December 3rd. (read more)


Phoenix hard rockers Fire By Night recently released their new single "Obsessions" and to celebrate we asked lead vocalist Kailee Vander Maten to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

"Obsessions" was written by our former keyboardist, Jasmine, and is about her struggle with anxiety and depression, and how her friends and family would either dismiss it or say things like ,"it'll get better" and "just try to think positively." She brought the song to us a while ago and when I first heard it I was (for lack of better words) obsessed. The lyrics she had written and the soulful melody that accompanied them immediately had me hooked and when I tell you I was excited to work on this song, I was excited. Like, just found out I was getting a puppy for Christmas excited. This was a song I couldn't wait to lay down my vocals for and a song that the rest of us were so ready to make our own. (continue)


Converge have shared a new song called "Coil", which comes from their forthcoming collaborative album, "Bloodmoon: I", that finds them teaming up with Chelsea Wolfe, Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Converge), and Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe).

Jacob Bannon had this to say about the track, "'Coil' turned out to be one of my favorite songs I've ever been a part of. There is an infectious slow build that ends up becoming theatrical in tone. (read more)


John 5 has released a cinematic music video for his track, "Land of The Misfit Toys". The track comes from his just released new solo album "Sinner".

He had this to say about the track and video, "Land Of the Misfit Toys' is my favorite track on the record. It's a real epic and the longest track on the new album. (read more)


Franz Ferdinand have released a video for their new single "Billy Goodbye", which is one of two brand new tracks that will be included on their forthcoming "Hits To The Head" compilation.

The 20-track greatest hits package will be released on March 11th in various formats including digitally, CD, deluxe CD, double gatefold 2LP, limited edition indies only gatefold red 2LP, limited edition D2C exclusive gatefold gold 2LP vinyl and cassette. (read more)


Travis Tritt has announced that he will be hitting the road early next year to launch his An Evening with Travis Tritt, which will be a U.S. solo acoustic tour.

Tritt will be launching the trek on January 13th in Jackson, TN at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and will wrap up the tour on February 27th in Wilkes Barre, PA at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts. (read more)


Dark Funeral have announced that they will be releasing their brand new full-length album, "We Are The Apocalypse", March 18th and will be doing a special release show the next night Fallen in Stockholm, that will also feature special guest Samael and Eleine.

We The Crooked recently released their new single "Villain" and an accompanying music video, and to celebrate we asked them to tell us about the inspiration for the track. Here is the story:

Villain is a true story about a friend who had a psychotic episode. It warped his personality, causing him to sever relationships with friends, like me, who were trying to help. It was a dark time. He would rant publicly about being both the hero and victim of his delusional story, while at the same time terrorizing me - his 'villain' - for challenging his behaviour. (continue)


(hennemusic) Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators are streaming a lyric video for their newly-released track, "The River Is Rising." The tune is the lead single from the band's forthcoming album, "4".

"There's two or three songs on the record that were written during the pandemic; everything else was written before," explains Slash. "'The River Is Rising' was one of the last songs I wrote before we started pre-production, and because it was so fresh and has a certain groove and energy to it, it was the first thing we really attacked. (hennemusic) The Eagles have announced dates for a 50th Anniversary tour of the UK. The stadium series will open June 17 in Arnhem, Netherlands before shifting to the UK for shows in Liverpool and Edinburgh, followed by a stop on Dublin, Ireland and a headline performance in London's Hyde Park, where they'll be joined by openers Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and Little Big Town.

An American Express Cardmembers presale for the BST Hyde Park event is underway now, with general public tickets going on sale Friday, November 5 at 9 am - the same time seats for the other four concerts will be made available through regular outlets. (read more)

Los Angeles industrial metal/heavy rockers Contracult Collective have shared their cover of "Sacred Love," a classic track from hardcore pioneers Bad Brains' 1986 single "Sacred Love."

The track has been released to digital retailers and streaming services, and the band has also premiered a music video that features performance and behind-the-scenes footage from their recent performance at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA that took place on October 7th. (read more)
