Sammy Hagar surprised fans during his Las Vegas residency show this past Friday (November 5th) when he brought of Grateful Dead legend Bob Weir for a special jam.

Weir joined Sammy and The Wabos (guitarist Vic Johnson, drummer David Lauser and bassist Mona Gnader), on stage to perform renditions of the Dead classics' "Not Fade Away" and "Good Lovin'", as well as a cover of the Depeche Mode hit "Personal Jesus". (read more)


An adverting poster for the Beatles legendary August 1966 show at Shea Stadium sold for $150,000 at Heritage Auctions on Saturday (November 6th).

Heritage Auctions sent over the following details: It has always been The Most Famous Concert Poster in the World. The Beatles. At Shea Stadium. On Aug. 23, 1966. But Saturday afternoon at Heritage Auctions, during the auction house's Nov. 6 Music Memorabilia & Concert Posters Signature Auction, the bright yellow cardboard featuring the Fab Four tied the record for The World's Most Expensive Concert Poster, selling for $150,000. (hennemusic) Led Zeppelin revisit their classic track, "The Battle Of Evermore", on the third episode of their newly-launched 50th anniversary video series about their 1971 album, "Led Zeppelin IV."

The song features a duet between Robert Plant and former Fairport Convention singer Sandy Denny, who has the distinction of being the only guest vocalist on a Led Zeppelin recording. (read more)

(hennemusic) Green Day have issued "Holy Toledo!" as their third new single of 2021. The tune - which follows "Here Comes the Shock" and "Pollyanna" - is featured in the newly-released movie, "Mark, Mary & Some Other People."

Written, directed and produced by Hannah Marks, the rom-com stars Ben Rosenfield (Mark) and Hayley Law (Mary) as a newly-married couple who investigate the world of an open relationship that allows them to see others. (read more)

As the tour reaches its climax, and within just a few short weeks of each other, Queen play three of their most memorable and iconic gigs. Having already blazed a trail with 14 sold-out shows around the UK and Europe setting milestones along the way, Queen returned to London in July 1986 to play two nights at London's 72,000 capacity Wembley Stadium - the site of their extraordinary and historic performance at Live Aid the previous year. (hennemusic) Billy Idol rocked an acoustic version of his 1982 classic, "White Wedding", during an October 29 appearance on SiriusXM's The Spectrum, and the satellite radio service is sharing video of the performance.

"White Wedding" was the second single from Idol's self-titled debut album; the tune was a No.1 hit in Canada and Top 10 in multiple countries while the project reached Gold status in the US for sales of more than 5000,000. (read more)
