Red Fang have shared their cover of classic AC/DC song "Hells Bells", which comes from the forthcoming MER Redux Series installment "Back in Black [Redux]".

Bryan Giles had this to say, "I saw AC/DC in 1988 at the TCC in Tucson, Arizona. It was the second arena rock show of my young life. What struck me then and still sticks with me today is how perfectly they harnessed the power of the blues for a rock style. (read more)


So Cal rockers Lit have launched a brand new four part documentary style podcast about their classic hit song "My Own Worst Enemy", with episodes I and II now available to stream and new episodes coming weekly until December 7th. Here are the episode recaps:

Beginning with the day that Ajay wrote the lines "It's no surprise me I am my worst enemy / 'Cause every now and then I kick the living sh*t out of me" after filling up at an LA gas station, to performing "My Own Worst Enemy" at the Troubadour, getting signed and finally going into the studio, we recount the early history of Lit and the song that officially launched their career. (hennemusic) Ghost have announced dates for a spring 2022 tour of the UK and Europe. Set to open in Manchester, UK on April 9, the Swedish rockers will be joined on the trek - billed as "Imperatour" - by Uncle Acid and the deadbeats and Twin Temple.

Tickets for the series will go on sale Friday November 26 at 9AM CET at Ghost's website. The spring shows will follow Ghost's US dates with Volbeat, which will begin in Reno, NV in late January. (read more)

(hennemusic) Billy Idol is sharing a yule log video stream featuring audio of a newly-released remixed and remastered edition of his 2006 Christmas album, "Happy Holidays."

The rocker originally worked on the set of seasonal favorites with multi-instrumentalist and producer Brian Tichy and keyboardist Derek Sherinian.
"Before our 2006 European tour, I recorded a number of seasonal songs," recalls Idol. "A tree-trimming, fireside, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day intimate album was the result. Most probably essential at Christmas, is that the music is in the spirit. Knowing that family, friends, and children might be listening, I wanted a selection that would please all, while still exploring the awe and mystery that is Christmas." (read more)


(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing pro-shot video of a performance of their 1984 classic, "Fade To Black", from a November 6 show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA as part of the ATLive concert series.

The band were joined by Cage The Elephant and Greta Van Fleet for the second show of the weekend event, which opened a night earlier with an appearance by country legend George Strait. (read more)

The appearance is to promote the band's new album, "Hushed And Grim"; which was recorded with producer David Bottrill in their hometown of Atlanta, GA. (read more)


(hennemusic) Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have announced dates for a 2022 UK tour. The 10-show series will open with an appearance at the In It Together Festival in Wales on June 4, with shows wrapping up in Bristol on June 22.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, November 26 @ 9 am local time. Earlier this year, Gallagher released his first solo greatest hits package, "Back The Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021)." (read more)

Griffin: In order to have the answer to this question make any sense you need a little pretext, that being, Years Down is a very collaborative effort creatively, Ben and myself frequently work on lyrics as a team, often pulling from both of our pasts and previously written material that just didn't have a home yet.
