Judas Priest have announced that they have changed their minds and will include touring guitarist Andy Sneap in the lineup of their upcoming tour, less than a week after announcing they would be touring as a four-piece.

They shared earlier this week, "Hello maniacs! We are chomping at the British Steel bit to return to world touring... celebrating 50 years of Judas Priest as an even more powerful, relentless four piece heavy metal band - with Glenn coming out on stage with us here and there as before. Meshuggah have announced that they will be releasing their new studio album, "Immutable", on April 1st. This will mark the band's first new full length album in six years.

Guitarist Marten Hagstromhad this to say, "The title fits perfectly for where we are as a band. We're older now. Most of us are in our fifties now, and we've settled into who we are. Even though we've been experimenting all along, I also think we've been the same since day one. (read more)


(hennemusic) Led Zeppelin revisit their classic track, "When The Levee Breaks", on the eighth episode of their 50th anniversary video series about their 1971 album, "Led Zeppelin IV."

The band added heaviness to the closing track on the record when John Bonham's drum kit was recorded in the stairwell at the UK countryside mansion Headley Grange, with microphones hung up a flight of stairs while the building's acoustics delivered dramatic results. (read more)


(hennemusic) Iconic rock frontman David Coverdale has sold the rights to his Whitesnake and Deep Purple song catalog in a newly-announced deal with Round Hill Music.

The deal sees Round Hill Music Royalty Fund Limited acquire the music publishing, master rights and master rights royalties for, and entered into a long-term administration agreement for the neighboring rights income from, Coverdale's catalog. (read more)


Jason Aldean has released a music video for his brand next single "Trouble With A Heartbreak." The song comes from the second installment of his 10th studio album "Macon, Georgia", which is set for released on April 22nd.

Aldean had this to say, "The cool thing about putting out two parts of this record is having fans hear all the different influences I grew up on This song hit me right when I heard it and reminded me of those bitter R&B breakup songs that take me back to riding through the backroads of Georgia." Memphis May Fire have released a brand new single and performance video called "The American Dream" and will be releasing a special charity shirt to benefit The Veterans Project.

Frontman Matty Mullins had this to say, "We are thrilled to be dropping our sixth new single 'The American Dream. This song was fueled by the current state of our country, and the desire to fight for resolution rather than fighting our fellow man. (read more)


Swedish rockers The Hellacopters have release a music video for their brand new single called "Eyes Of Oblivion". The song is the title track to their forthcoming album, which is set to be released on April 1st.

Nicke Andersson had this to say about the new record, "The album has 10 songs and although it's obviously not easy to be objective at all, I think musically it sums up everything we've touched upon from the start in 1994 up until now. (read more)


Cult of Luna have released a brand new single entitled "Into the Night". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "The Long Road North".

The record will be hitting stores on February 11th and features guest appearances from Colin Stetson, Christian Mazzalai and Laurent Brancowitz of Phoenix, and Mariam Wallentin (Wildbirds And Peacedrums). (read more)


Blacktop Mojo have released a music video for their latest single, "Strike Me." The track features background guest vocals from the McCrary Sisters.

They said of the track, "The song is a sardonic answer to living through the great many turmoils we've all dealt with, especially in the last two years. It's essentially us observing the world around us and exclaiming, 'I'm coming, Elizabeth!' to quote the late, great Redd Foxx." (read more)


Jackie Bristow has announced that she will be releasing her new studio album, "Outsider", on March 4th, which marks her fifth studio album and first to be released by Mesa Bluemoon Recordings. We were sent the following details:
