The Foo Fighters, Metallica and The Strokes will be headlining this year's Boston Calling Festival that will taking place this Memorial Day Weekend.

The event will be taking over the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on May 27th, 28th and 29th and will feature over 50 artists from various genres. (read more)


Duran Duran's debut performance on Austin City Limits (ACL) will be premiering tonight, January 22nd, and the show has shared a preview video from their performance.

The video features the band performing the song "Tonight United", which is one of the ten tracks that the iconic group performed for the episode that premieres tonight (January 22) at 9pm ET/8pm CT (read more)


...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead have announced that they will be playing a FREE block party at Little Brother Bar in Austin, TX this Sunday January 23rd.

The special event will be taking place to celebrate Little Brother Bar's three-year anniversary and will also feature a performance from San Antonio rockers Grasshopper Lies Heavy. (read more)


Trivium frontman Matthew Kiichi Heafy has released a music video for the song "Tamashii No Houkai," that features a special guest appearance Ihsahn of Emperor.

The song is the first single from Heafy's "Ibaraki" project. He had this to say about the track, "'Tamashii No Houkai' means 'the breaking of the soul' or 'soul collapse. It's a Japanese term that didn't exist before, but one we forged to reflect the song's meaning. (read more)


Asking Alexandria have released a brand new EP called "Never Gonna Learn", which includes a collaboration with Maria Brink from In This Moment.

Named after the band's current hit single, the EP features four tracks including "New Devil" with Brink. Maria had this to say, "We've known Asking Alexandria for years and it's nice to finally collaborate together. They are incredibly talented and joining forces with them was a lot of fun. I can't wait for everyone to hear the song & I'm grateful to be a part of it." (read more)


The Head And The Heart have released a music video for their new single "Every Shade Of Blue", which is the title track to their forthcoming album that is set to hit stores on April 29th.

They had this to say about the album, "Every Shade Of Blue conveys a spectrum of emotions and how we live with them. The closer we get the more shades we see. (read more)


Brothers Osborne have released a lyric video for their song "Midnight Rider's Prayer," which is one of the brand new track included on the deluxe edition of their "Skeletons" album.

The expanded edition of Grammy nominated album features three new tracks including the aforementioned "Midnight Rider's Prayer", as well as "Headstone" and "Younger Me" (read more)


Wolves At The Gate have released a music video for their new single "Lights & Fire". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "Eulogies," which is due on March 11th.

Vocalist/guitarist Steve Cobucci had this to say about the song, "While all of these songs were quite personal for me, this one held a different weight, as it related to a number of the most painful parts of my life. (read more)
