Eddie Van Halen stayed connected with his ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli, the actress revealed during a new interview with 1010 WINS that can be streamed online.
Bertinelli appeared on the radio station to discuss her new book "Enough Already: Learning To Love The Way I Am Today" and said of her relationship with Eddie, "We didn't get away. We kept our connection - there were a few years right after I moved out that he was a little angry at me - but we always made an effort to stay in touch, to stay connected, especially when we grew up we wanted to co-parent as well as we could together. Shinedown have shared a stream of their brand new single "Planet Zero" with a lyric video. The song is the title track to the band's forthcoming studio album, which is set to hit stores on April 22nd.
Frontman Brent Smith had this to say about the track , "If we shut each other down and allow ourselves to be divided by the information we consume and the way we talk to each other, we lose our humanity. (read more)

The band - who previously teased video from a studio in London, UK - have taken to Instagram with footage from a rehearsal room as they run through what appears to be a new tune, highlighted with Mike Dirnt spray painting "1972" on a wall. (read more)
(hennemusic) Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has announced that he will release an expanded 30th anniversary reissue of his 1992 album, "Main Offender", on March 18.
Richards regrouped with his touring band, the X-Pensive Winos, for his second solo effort, with a lineup that features drummer Steve Jordan, guitarist Waddy Wachtel, bassist Charley Drayton, keyboard player Ivan Neville, singer Sarah Dash, and backing vocalists Bernard Fowler and Babi Floyd. Beartooth have announced that they have postponed their UK and headlining tour with Motionless In White and Stray From The Path until March of next year due to the pandemic restrictions.
The band had this to say, "For us, there's nothing worse than having to write a statement like this - but due to ongoing COVID 19 restrictions, we have made the painful decision to reschedule our UK/EU tour dates. (read more)
Prog rocker Dream Theater have released a music video for their song "Transcending Time". The track comes from their latest album "A View From The Top Of The World."
"Transcending Time" is the fourth video that has been released from the band's latest album and is another CGI creation by their long-time collaborator Wayne Joyner. (read more)
Rock icons Grand Funk Railroad will be resuming their 2022 Some Kind Of Wonderful Tour tonight and have just announced a new run of dates with Kid Rock.
After a couple of weeks off, the band will be hitting the road again tonight (January 26th) with a show in Beaver Creek, CO and will also be part of Kid Rock's just announced Bad Reputation Tour this spring. (read more)
Enslaved broke the bad news to fans via social media that they have been forced to cancelled their planned European and UK tour due to current pandemic restrictions.
The tour was set to launch next month and also feature Intronaut, Obsidian Kingdom, and Crown. The band had this to say, "What many of you, and we ourselves, have feared - is now a reality. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation and Covid restrictions across the European continent, we are unfortunately forced to cancel our upcoming Utgard Tour with our friends in Intronaut, Obsidian Kingdom and Crown. Voivod have released a music video for their new song "Synchro Anarchy". The single is the title track to the band's forthcoming album, which will arrive on February 11th.

Aldo Nova has announced that he will be releasing two new project in April, the first chapter to his new rock opera, and a special triple disc collection.
SRO sent over these details: Aldo Nova has set April 1 as the release date for the first chapter of his larger-than-life rock opera, a 10-song EP titled THE LIFE AND TIMES OF EDDIE GAGE. The iconic Montreal maverick will subsequently release the triple disc ALDO NOVA 2.0 RELOADED on April 19. It will feature 2.0 versions of nine classic songs from ALDO's catalog, plus another disc with no lead vocal track and a third disc with no lead guitar track so fans can either sing along or play along with him.
