The long-awaited worldwide theatrical debut of Music, Money, Madness... Jimi Hendrix In Maui, the Grammy-nominated documentary from Abramorama, will be taking place next month.

The film will simultaneously premiere in Buffalo, Oklahoma City, Tacoma and various California cities. Screenings will also take place throughout February in cities across North America and the rest of the world, including Boston, Vancouver (BC), Albuquerque, Tulsa, Portland (OR) San Diego, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington (DC), Orlando as well as in the Netherlands, Mexico, Spain and other countries soon to be announced. Nominated this year in the Best Music Film category, the film chronicles the Jimi Hendrix Experience's storied visit to Maui in 1970, and how they became ensnared in the controversial, countercultural film Rainbow Bridge. (hennemusic) Ghost debuted a new song, "Kaisarion", during the opening night of their co-headlining US tour with Volbeat in Reno, NV on January 25th and some fan filmed video has been shared online.

According to setlist.fm, the Swedish rockers launched their performance with the track, which will appear on their forthcoming album, "Impera." Ghost's 16-song set mixed tracks from their first four albums, a couple of EPs and the live debut of the recent single, "Hunter's Moon." (read more)


Ministry have released a DIY music video for their song "Believe Me". The song comes from the band's latest studio album, "Moral Hygiene", which was released last October.

We were sent these details about the clip, "The video is a departure from the two previously released professional videos from the album and became a total DIY effort, with each of the band members (also including drummer Roy Mayora, guitarists Cesar Soto and Monte Pittman, bassist Paul D'Amour and keyboardist John Bechdel) gearing up for their upcoming tour at home and purchasing an inexpensive green screen to contribute their parts to the performance footage, that was then melded together. Lee Brice has released a music video for his current hit single "Soul". The track come from his latest studio album, "Hey World", and the video was directed by Justin Clough and Chase Lauer.

Brice had this to say, "We had a ball, with every aspect of this song," says Brice. "Finding it, (thank you, JR), hearing it the first time, recording it, singing it, mixing it, shooting the video, all of it. (read more)


BritBox have announced that the award-winning feature documentary, The Beatles And India, will be coming to their streaming service on February 15th. We were sent these details:

The Ghost Inside, Alexisonfire, New Found Glory lead the lineup for this year's Furnace Fest which will be taking place at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25th.

The festival will feature performances from 90 bands across 3 stages, including The Acacia Strain, Anti-Flag, Earth Crisis, Elliott, The Joy Formidable, Kublai Khan TX, Nothing, Shadows Fall, Stretch Armstrong, Strike Anywhere and many more. (read more)


Monuments have announced that they will be releasing their fourth studio album, which will be entitled "In Stasis," on April 15th, and includes their recently released single "Lavos" feat. Mick Gordon.

The band had this to say, "We approached this album without the intention of a specific concept. However - three songs in, what was being written ended up sharing a common theme. (read more)


Masorti just released the new single "Arrowhead" from the forthcoming "80 East" EP (out in April) and to celebrate we asked Phillip Masorti to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

The inspiration for writing Arrowhead came at a time when I was really struggling with some personal life issues and I was particularly concerned with the amount of time I was spending with my children. I would recall all the things my father did with me and I would compare whether I was providing the same type of quality experiences for my children. One of the things that my father did with me that I remember very fondly is we would look for arrowheads after plowing the fields of the family farm that was in Central Pennsylvania in an area that the Indians inhabited for thousands of years until about 1800. I have always felt a strong spiritual presence surrounded that special area known as The Great Island where the family farm was and the setting served as a perfect backdrop for the generational theme that I was exploring.
