The self-titled debut album from Neurotic Outsiders, a supergroup featuring Sex Pistols, Steve Jones, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, and Duran Duran's John Taylor, has been expanded for a reissue that will be released on June 3rd. We were sent the following details:

When former Sex Pistol Steve Jones joined a pick up band for a benefit concert for a cancer-stricken friend at LA's notorious Viper Room back in the mid '90s, he probably had no clue that the lineup he'd choose would result in a full blown record deal with Madonna's Maverick Records for $1million. What started out as a random mishmash of his musician friends - JOHN Taylor (Duran Duran) and Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses) - and a Monday night residency at the infamous club turned into Neurotic Outsiders. Owl City has shared his reimaged version of Smash Mouth's classic 1999 hit "All Star", which has be released to digital retailers as "All Star (Owl City Remix)."

Paul Delisle of Smash Mouth had this to say, "It's a wonderfully creative and unique reimagining of one of our best songs. We Have Always Admired Adam, and it's an honor to have him remix the mighty 'All Star' in his distinctive Owl City sound." (read more)


"The Who Sell Out" and "Tommy" are the second installment of special limited edition half speed mastered studio albums reissues coming from The Who.

These special reissues will be released on July 6th. UMe sent over the following details: These limited-edition black vinyl versions have been mastered by long-time Who engineer Jon Astley and cut for vinyl by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios with a half-speed mastering technique which produces a superior vinyl cut and are packaged in original sleeves with obi strips and certificates of authenticity. Mongolian rockers The Hu have released a music video for their brand new single called "This Is Mongol" ahead of their second official studio album set for release later this summer.

SRO shared the following details: Speaking about the video, singer and tumur hhuur player Jaya said, "We shot in the Mojave Desert, Nevada and the environment reminded us of Gobi Desert in Mongolia. We enjoyed shooting the video, which happened during our tour and gave us a little break to reminisce about home. The song perfectly matched the environment we made the video in. It was one of the best memories we created as a band and it was special because our producer Dashka was with us to oversee the whole process." (read more)


The Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato has released a music video for his new single "Never Wanted That", the second taste of his forthcoming solo album.

The new album will be entitled "Mirrorcell", and is set to be released on July 1st. Greg had this to say about the Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera directed video, "This vid was a nice exercise in making do with what you have available to you, or the creative benefits of limitation. (read more)


State Champs have released a brand-new music video for "Act Like That" featuring Mitchell Tenpenny, to celebrate the release of their new album "Kings Of The New Age".

Vocalist Derek DiScanio had this to say about the new single, "'Act Like That' is the most 'out of the box' song for us on the album. We had a lot of fun experimenting with some poppier elements, but it was challenging at first to bring the right level of SC energy to level it out. (read more)


Phoenix rockers The Black Moods have released a music video for their new single "The Cure". The song comes from their forthcoming album, "Into The Night", which arrives on June 3rd.

vocalist/guitarist Josh Kennedy had the following to say about "The Cure" video, which was directed by Jim Louvau & Tony Aguilera (Jerry Cantrell, Killer Be Killed), "To me, 'The Cure' is the bluesiest song we have. (read more)


Family, friends and invited guests will gather on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 1 P.M. CST for Mickey Gilley's "Celebration of Life" at the Mickey Gilley Grand Shanghai Theatre in Branson, Mo.

Seating will be reserved for those close to the Gilley family and limited seating will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. A live streaming of "The Celebration of Life" will also be available and more details will be posted on the Mickey Gilley Facebook page. (read more)

Los Angeles based Industrial rockers Dawn Of Ashes have premiered a music video for their single, "EMDR," the first single from their just released new album "Scars Of The Broken".

According to the announcement, the video features "unsettling imagery as analogies for the wholly encompassing and often contradictory experiences of severe trauma sufferers, 'EMDR' is not for the feint of heart, but serves as a uniquely explicit insight into a mind struggling to achieve balance and recognition beyond suffering. Bleed From Within have delivered a music video for their new single "Flesh and Stone". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "Shrine", which will be hitting stores on June 3rd.

Ali Richardson had this to say about the clip, "Avoiding the traditional performance style video, we instead wanted to create a cinematic fictional world that could no longer defend itself from the sun; a barren wasteland once full of life. In her isolation, our desperate protagonist has resorted to rituals in order to manifest some form of life on this dead world, but it's too late. (read more)


Toronto rockers The Reed Effect have released a music video for their new single "Trampled Under", which comes from their studio album "1973".

The band continues to honor Chris Reed, the brother of vocalist/guitarist Kirk Reed, who had this to say, 'Trampled Under is arguably the strongest track from this album. It definitely stands out as it's the darkest and most emotional. All the other tracks are rockers. (read more)


Stoner rockers Geezer have released a music video for their new single "Logan's Run". The song comes ahead of the band's new album, "Stoned Blues Machine", which will arrive on May 20th.

They had this to say about the new track, : "Logan's Run is a dystopian future movie from the '70s that had the perfect combination of campiness, women without bras and bad special effects that made it a must-see whenever it came on Saturday afternoon TV when we were kids. (read more)


Jack Johnson has released a music video for the second song and title track to his upcoming album, 'Meet The Moonlight,' which will released on June 24th.

The video was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Morgan Maassen. We were sent the following details: The album's centerpiece, "Meet The Moonlight" presents a quietly hypnotic number that producer Blake Mills refers to as "one of the most spiritually interesting things I've ever worked on."
