Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne is undergoing a "very major operation" that will "determine the rest of his life," according to his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne.

She revealed the news during the Wednesday (June 8th) episode of The Talk UK and shared that she was returning to the United States to be by Ozzy's side for the surgery. (read more)


Lamb Of God have released a music video for their new single "Nevermore," which is the first track that they have shared from their forthcoming album, "Omens".

The new album is set to be released on October 7th and was produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur (Korn, Megadeth). Frontman Randall Blythe had this to say, "The world is crazy and keeps changing. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones performed their 1967 classic, "Ruby Tuesday", by request during a June 5 concert in Munich, Germany after it was selected as the fan-voted song of the night in an advance online poll before the show.

The band also delivered the tour debuts of two other songs: 1967's "Connection" - featuring Keith Richards on vocals - and their 1972 classic, "Rocks Off." (read more)


(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing video of their performance of their 1983 classic, "Whiplash", that was captured during their May 29th appearance at the Boston Calling festival.

The track was originally featured on the group's debut album, "Kill 'Em All", which they began recording a month after they fired Dave Mustaine and brought in new guitarist Kirk Hammett, who was a founding member of the California thrash band Exodus. (read more)


(hennemusic) Hanoi Rocks icon Michael Monroe is streaming his brand new studio album, "I Live Too Fast To Die Young", in sync with its release today, June 10th.

Monroe recorded his tenth studio set at Inkfish Studios in Helsinki, Finland between November and December 2021 with a lineup that includes Steve Conte (guitars and vocals), Rich Jones (guitar, vocals), Karl Rockfist (drums) and Sami Yaffa (bass/vocals/guitar). (read more)

Voivod have announced that their 'Forgotten In Space' The Noise Records Years Deluxe Box-Set will be released on July 29th 2022, and they are celebrating by sharing a new video for a previously unreleased demo of "Psychic Vacuum".

It's been an exhilarating 40-year ride for Voivod, the Jonquiere, Quebec quartet that has, over the years, defied the odds, faced tragedy head on and also seen the band rise above many of the contemporaries to a point where the band's intricate progressively fueled heavy metal sound also brings with it honors and awards. The 2018 Voivod album, 'The Wake', won the band a Juno Award for Heavy Metal Album of The Year, while the previous year Away had picked up the Visionary Award at that year's Progressive Music Awards in London. The Jacksonville, FL alt-rock project Pharmacose recently released a brand new single called "Obey", and to celebrate we asked Wes Jones to tell us about the track. here is the story:

"Obey" is the second song off our second album Ascension's Constraint. It's closely tied to a book I am writing also entitled Ascension's Constraint. I plan on releasing one part of the book per month on Kindle Vella that will go with a new track available on streaming. (continue)
