(hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen joined Paul McCartney onstage during his June 16th concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, and fan filmed video of the jam has been shared online.

As Rolling Stone notes, Springsteen took the mic for a rendition of his 1984 hit, "Glory Days", and the Beatles' classic, "I Wanna Be Your Man." Later in the evening, Jon Bon Jovi appeared to sing "Happy Birthday" to McCartney, who turns 80 on June 18. (read more)


(hennemusic) Def Leppard are streaming a video recap package of a June 16 appearance in Atlanta, GA on the opening night of their summer Stadium Tour with Motley Crue.

"We have just kinda finished the wettest gig we have done since Mannheim in 1986," shares Joe Elliott (as transcribed by hennemusic). As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has announced that the band is moving forward without Jordan Mancino, after the drummer and cofounding members opted not to participate in the band's upcoming tour dates.

Lambesis explained, "There was a public statement recently made by Jordan Mancino regarding .internal issues within AILD'. We feel that it's necessary to share a little more information with the fans on the matter in order to better understand the situation and avoid making any wrongful assumptions. (read more)


(hennemusic) David Bowie's camp are streaming a new remix of "Starman" in sync with the 50th anniversary of the release of his 1972 album, "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars."

"Starman (Top Of The Pops Version 2022 Remix)" features Bowie's iconic performance of the single on BBC's Top Of The Pops, considered among the most defining televised music appearances in history as it went on to influence generations of musicians, artists and writers who saw it at the time and countless others who have since seen it over the decades, from bootleg VHS copies to YouTube clips. Dave Stewart has shared his reaction to his and his Eurythmics co-founder, Annie Lennox's induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame during the 51st Annual Ceremony and Awards Gala in New York City last week.

St. Vincent honored the British duo with a performance of their break out hit "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" prior to introducing and welcoming Stewart and Lennox to the podium, followed by their performance of "Here Comes the Rain Again." (read more)


Avira has recruited Live frontman Ed Kowalczyk for a brand new take on the band's 1994 hit single "Lightning Crashes", which was released this past Friday, June 17th.

Avira had this to say, "When I was growing up in Toronto, I always felt like dance music had a bad reputation. I knew that only small circles were into it, but almost everyone listened to rock, hip-hop and Top 40. (read more)


Porcupine Tree have released a music video for their new single "Rats Return". The song comes from their forthcoming album, "CLOSURE/CONTINUATION," which is set to hit stores on June 24th.
