AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson has shared a statement about being involved in the upcoming tribute concert to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

The iconic vocalist will be taking part in the first of two tribute concerts that will be taking place this Saturday, September 3rd at Wembley Stadium in London. (read more)


Anthrax have been forced to cancel the mainland European leg of their 40th anniversary tour due to logistical issues and the current costs of touring the continent.

The band will still be embarking on UK leg of the tour that is set to kick off on September 27th in Birmingham and will conclude on October 8th in London, but the dates that were scheduled in continental Europe have been canceled. (read more)


Nickelback have been teasing fans about their long awaited return and it now appears that new music is coming very soon with the band filming a music video for their next single earlier this week.

Vancouver news outlet CTV News reported that hundreds of fans were on hand when the band filmed a music video at the Simon Fraser University Convocation Mall on Tuesday (September 7th). (read more)


Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor revealed his plans to enter the studio early next year to record the follow-up to his 2020 solo album, "CMFT," and launch a special tour to promote the effort.

Taylor shared the news during an appearance on SiriusXM. He also said, "We're gonna go in and bang it out and get it ready. And then once I'm done touring with Slipknot, I'm gonna throw together a really rad, 'rock is back' kind of tour for the solo stuff and start bringing out some of the younger, maybe not even some of the younger rock bands, but just some of the bands that don't get the chance or just don't get the looks that are afforded to either pop bands and hip-hop bands or people like me who are kind of grandfathered in. Bauhaus have announced that they have canceled their upcoming North American live performances because Peter Murphy is entering a rehabilitation facility.

The band broke the news to fans with the following statement, "It is with the utmost regret that the Bauhaus performances in North America have been canceled for the remainder of the year. (read more)


(hennemusic) Pink Floyd are revisiting the cover shoot in a new video spotlighting the September 16th reissue of their 1977 album classic, "Animals."

The iconic cover on the original release captures an inflatable pig in the skies above London's Battersea Power Station; the concept was reimagined by Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis for the 2018 remixed version of the set. (read more)


Suicide Silence have released a music video for their brand new single "You Must Die". The song comes from the band's forthcoming album, "Remember... You Must Die."

They had this to say about the track, "'You Must Die' reminds us that time is merciless. Every second the clock ticks we grow closer to death and what happens after our short bout with time is a total mystery. 'You Must Die' was written as a reminder to remember death and to not let time be our master". (read more)


(hennemusic) Queensryche are streaming a brand new music video for their song "Behind The Walls", a track from their forthcoming album, "Digital Noise Alliance."

CBS have announced that Brooks & Dunn, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town and Zac Brown Band are the first acts announced for their New Year's Eve special this year. We were sent the following details:

CBS presents NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE'S BIG BASH, Saturday, Dec. 31 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Case Hardin recently released his new album, "Lucky Him", which he coproduced with Ronnie Huckaby (George Strait), Kenny Grohman (George Strait), and to celebrate we asked him to tell us about the single "Honky Tonk Highway". Here is the story:

"Honky Tonk Highway" began as a song that was written and pitched to me by accredited Nashville songwriter Bernie Nelson. Once I heard the lyrics and learned the story behind the song, I knew that I had to cut it. Not only is "Honky Tonk Highway" a story that I've lived through chasing white lines on the road and playing shows, but also a story that is relatable to me through the homage to those who helped pave the way for a new generation of honky tonk troubadours.
