Ozzy Osbourne is providing an inside look into the making of his new studio album, Patient Number 9, with a three-clip video series featuring interviews and in-studio clips with some of featured performers.

Set to debut this Friday at 11:00 AM (ET)/8:00 AM (PT) and for the next two consecutive Fridays, the series includes exclusive interviews with Ozzy and the album's producer Andrew Watt. (read more)


(hennemusic) Deep Purple has officially welcomed guitarist Simon McBride as the newest permanent member of the band. The announcement follows news in July that Steve Morse would be leaving the lineup after more than 25 years to care for his wife, who is battling stage 4 cancer; McBride stepped in to cover for Morse earlier this year before the change became permanent.

"We are thrilled that Simon has agreed to join," says Deep Purple. "Simon's playing is up there with the greats. Of course, Steve can't be replaced, the same as Ritchie, and Steve has a long legacy with Deep Purple. In Simon we have not found a replacement, but an extraordinarily talented and exciting guitarist in his own right. (read more)


Bush have shared a visualizer video for their new single, "Heavy is The Ocean", the second track revealed from their forthcoming album, "The Art Of Survival", which will arrive on October 7th.

Gavin Rossdale shared his reaction to hearing the riff from the song for the first time. He said, "Oh Lord, this is going to open the record. It really sets the tone and the gravitas of the album. (read more)


Kip Moore has shared a new version of his recently released track "If I Was Your Lover" that features guest vocals from acclaimed new artist Morgan Wade.

Wade initially co-starred in the music video for the track alongside Moore, and following fervent fan requests for Wade to feature vocally, the pair hit the studio together to re-record the song. (read more)


NYC rocker Lorne Behrman has shared a video for this song, "Harlem River Serenade", to celebrate the release of his new album, "A Little Midnight".

He said of the song, Maybe this is my 'I Will Survive' song? Before I met my wife, I went through a painful breakup. It felt so sudden and so cold, and I spent so much of my time obsessing about it. I would be on the train to pick up my daughter and feel impulses to reach out to this person. (read more)


Ozzy Osbourne has "a bunch of stuff" that he recorded with late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins that is going to "used for another thing", according to Andrew Watt.

Watt produced Ozzy's brand new studio album, "Patient Number 9," which includes three tracks featuring Hawkins, who also received writing credits. Ozzy album dedicated the record to Taylor. (read more)


New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert is recovering from surgery to remove a tumor in his spine and he reports that the cancer in his spine is now gone.

Shared the news with fans via social media on Thursday (September 15th). Along with some photos from the hospital, he wrote, "ANOTHER unexpected turn of events. I was supposed to start radiation on Monday for the small amount of Pheochromocytoma left in my T-12 Vertebrae! (read more)


On the heels of Living Colour's performance at Rock In Rio with Steve Vai, the band decided to recreate that energy with a re-recorded version of their classic "Cult of Personality."

The song was their finale of their Rock In Rio set where over 100,000 were in attendance and the entire crowd fixated on the bands performance and sang every word to the bands most iconic song. (read more)


Lacuna Coil have premiered a music video for their brand new single "Swamped XX". This song follows the previously launched track "Tight Rope XX".
