SOiL have released a music video for their cover of the White Zombie classic "Thunder Kiss '65". The track comes from their recently released covers album, Play It Forward.

The band had this to say, "White Zombie and Rob Zombie's solo material have always held a special place in SOiL's heart. When we first heard our singer Ryan's voice in 1997, when we were completing the line up for SOiL, his vocals were the perfect combination of Layne Staley merged with Rob Zombie. (read more)


Both the original Roadrunner United All-Star Sessions album and the concert performance itself will be made widely available in multiple configurations on March 10, 2023, on vinyl, CD, digitally, and presented in HD for the first time.

Roadrunner United was a project organized by iconic hard rock record label Roadrunner Records to celebrate its 25th anniversary, culminating in the U.S. Billboard Top 200, UK Albums, and Australian ARIA Albums-charting original The All Star Sessions. Four "team captains" (Slipknot's Joey Jordison, Machine Head's Robb Flynn, Fear Factory's Dino Cazares, and Trivium's Matthew K. Heafy) were chosen to lead 57 artists from 45 past and present Roadrunner bands. It was truly a heavy metal family affair - and then some! (read more)


Soen have released a performance video for their take of the Slipknot classic, "Snuff". The cover comes from their forthcoming album, Atlantis, which will arrive on November 18th.

System Of A Down's Serj Tankian has released a video that offers more insight into his forthcoming performance of "Invocations," an orchestral suite composed and performed by Tankian, which he debuts on April 29 at The Soraya (California State University Northridge).

"'Invocations' is an operatic suite that can best be described as music that calls on spirits to co-inspire and wander," Tankian explains. "The music for invocations was written over a long period of time, over many years, composing for film and being inspired by the orchestral ensemble and choir. I find these pieces from all of the compositions I've ever done, they invoke a spirituality in us. They invoke this connection in us, that music is meant to do." (read more)


Organizers of the 2023 David Bowie World Fan Convention have announced the first round of special guest speakers and presenters for the event that will be taking place on June 17-18, 2023 at New York City's Terminal 5.

Bringing together a cornucopia of collaborators from every period of Bowie's multi-faceted career, the luminaries in attendance at the event include acclaimed producer Tony Visconti, whose partnership with Bowie across five decades spawned fourteen classic albums from 1969's Space Oddity to 2016's Blackstar. Miranda Lambert has released a new music video for her current single, "Strange." The track comes from her CMA Album of the Year nominated record, Palomino.

Lambert wrote the song with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby. She had this to say about the track, "We wrote this song in the middle of 2020, when live shows felt so far away and we weren't sure when we'd have that connection with fans again. (read more)


Nashville-based singer-songwriter Sheyna Gee recently released a new single called "Lost and Found" and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

"Lost and Found" came together in a period when I was writing five days a week. The song tells a tale as old as time: the things we lose and find in bars. The newly reunited Blink-182 and Green Day have announced as the headliners of next year's When We Were Young Festival after a successful launch of the event this year.

Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker surprised fans this morning (October 11th) with the announcement of their reunion, first new music with the original lineup in a decade and world tour. (read more)


Duran Duran have confirmed details of a brand-new, 75 minute docu-concert film, entitled A Hollywood High, that captures the band performing live on a rooftop in Los Angeles, alongside exclusive interviews and archival footage that tells the story of their long-time love affair with the city.

blink-182 have reunited with their original lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker and have announced a new single and a world tour.

The first single of their reunion, "Edging", will be released this Friday, October 14th and it marks for the first new music from the original lineup in a decade. (read more)
