Blink-182 have released a music video for their brand new single "Edging", which is the first new track from the original lineup of the group in almost a decade and comes from their forthcoming reunion album.

"Edging" was produced by Travis Barker and he had this to say about the track, "I wanted to imagine as a listener what I wanted to experience and at the same time as a band member what we wanted to make and say and most importantly how it would sound production wise in 2022." (read more)


(hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen is sharing a video for his cover of The Commodores' 1985 classic, "Nightshift", ahead of its inclusion on the New Jersey rocker's forthcoming collection of soul covers entitled Only The Strong Survive.

"An essential song selection in the early creation of Only The Strong Survive, the track inspired Springsteen, his producer Ron Aniello and engineer Rob Lebret to christen themselves 'The Night Shift' while finishing this new record," according to the singer's camp. "Nightshift" was first recorded by The Commodores on Motown Records in 1985, serving as a tribute to late soul music heroes Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson just after they passed." (read more)


Rival Sons have released a music video for their new single, "Nobody Wants to Die", to celebrate the announcement of their new album, Darkfighter, hitting stores on March 10th.

Frontman Jay Buchanan said of the new single, "You live your life knowing that the sword of Damocles is hanging over your head by a thread. You're fully aware of the impermanence of your existence, but you can't think about it all the time-or it'll f*** your life up. (read more)

(hennemusic) The Red Hot Chili Peppers are streaming their new album, Return Of The Dream Canteen, in sync with its release on October 14th. First introduced with the lead single "Tippa My Tongue", the project follows Unlimited Love as the California band's second album of 2022, with both produced by Rick Rubin.

"Return of the Dream Canteen feels like a nod to the creative prosperity of a psychedelic desert," says the group. "Something about the four of us wandering into a time and place that had less definition than normal led to more music. We just kept sipping away. The canteen was generous. (read more)


War Hippies, comprised of combat veterans and musicians, Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis, have released their self-titled debut album, which can now be streamed online.

The album consists of twelve tracks featuring Brown and Reis on vocals as well as Reis on the violin. Featuring eight original songs plus four carefully selected covers, the album follows the storyline of their past as USMC and US Army Combat veterans. (read more)

Julian Taylor releases his new album Beyond the Reservoir this week and to celebrate we asked him to tell us about one of the song and he picked "Stolen Lands". Here is the story:

I remember sitting on my porch last summer, just strumming these chords, and within them the guitar lick formed into what would eventually become the song "Stolen Lands." I enjoy working in minor keys, and this chord progression was so interesting to my ear because it was dark and rhythmic. (continue)
