K.K. Downing shared in a new interview that he will be reuniting with Judas Priest for a performance at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Musical Excellence Award induction will include Downing, frontman Rob Halford, guitarist Glenn Tipton, bassist Ian Hill, drummer Scott Travis, as well as former members Les Binks and late drummer Dave Holland. (read more)


Matt Skiba took to social media to congratulate his former Blink-182 bandmates on their reunion with original member Tom DeLonge, whom he had replaced in the band in 2015.

This past week, the band announced the reunion of their original lineup, DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker, as well as a massive world tour and shared a brand new single called "Edging". (read more)


Ringo Starr has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of his current tour after the former Beatles star revealed that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

He tweeted fans on Thursday (October 13th), "I'm sure you'll be as surprised as I was I tested positive again for Covid. The rest of the tour is off I send you peace and love." (read more)


Ben Kweller has shared his cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' "Today," which was recorded while on tour with The Strokes in 2003 and is the first single from his forthcoming "Sha Sha" deluxe reissue.

Kweller is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album, "Sha Sha", with the deluxe reissue early next year that will be presented as a triple vinyl LP package. (read more)


(hennemusic) Neil Young has announced that he will release an expanded 50th anniversary box set edition of his 1972 album classic, "Harvest", on December 2nd.

Young's fourth studio record delivered the rocker his only US No. 1 album and No. 1 single ("Heart Of Gold"), while also featuring fan favorites like "Old Man", "The Needle And The Damage Done" and the title track. (read more)


Chase Rice has released a Wild West-style music video for his brand new single, "Way Down Yonder", which showcases a rugged new sound previewing Rice's next musical era, which will be on full display via a forthcoming album.

"When we wrote this song, I had the mountains of North Carolina where I grew up in mind; all the moonshining history there in the Appalachians," recalls Rice. "Then all of a sudden during the recording process, Rob McNelley started playing this crazy carnival sound on the acoustic... and it got Western quick. That turned it from a song I didn't think was even going to make the cut for this next album into one of my favorite songs on the project." (read more)

Hollow Graves recently released their self-produced "Heatwave" EP and to celebrate we asked vocalist Rob Coxford to tell us about the title track from the three-track effort and follow-up to their early 2022 album, "Mid-Century Modern." Here is the story:

Guitarist Nathan Gravette started playing the opening riff at our rehearsal space in Toronto with bassist Coady McCormack adding these pop driven bass lines. I just remember thinking, "this takes me back..." and figured we'd keep feeling going in the song. Dummer Alex Saragosa started that down the middle beat and everything just came naturally.
