Peter Gabriel has announced that he will be launching his first tour outside of North America since 2014 next year when he hits the road for the i/o Tour of the UK and Europe.

Gabriel had this to say, "It's been a while and I am now surrounded by a whole lot of new songs and am excited to be taking them out on the road for a spin. Look forward to seeing you out there." (read more)


Whiskey Myers may still be on the road through early December, but they are not done. They have just announced their Whiskey Myers 2023 Tour.

The brand new 12-date trek will include varied support from Rival Sons, Giovannie & The Hired Guns, and The Weathered Souls (check local listings), and it will be followed by appearances at various music festivals including Carolina Country Music Fest, Hwy 30 Music Fest, Country Jam Colorado and Country Jam USA. Robert Jon & The Wreck have released a music video for their brand new single, "Pain No More", which was produced by 8x Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlisle, Blackberry Smoke, Rival Sons).

"Working with Dave Cobb was incredible," says Robert Jon Burrison. "RCA studios was such a legendary place and Dave Worked so fast that we almost didn't even know what was happening. Before we knew it, we had one of the best songs we've ever recorded with the least stress we've ever had in a studio. He's the embodiment of what it means to be a great producer." (read more)


Marillion, Steve Hackett, Flying Colors and Big Big Train have been named as the headliners for the 9th Cruise To The Edge that will be sailing in March of 2024.

The prog rock cruise will launch on March 8th from Miami, FL aboard the Norwegian Pearl visiting Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Grand Cayman before wrapping up on March 13th. (read more)


Iggy Pop has announced that he will be releasing his new studio album, "Every Loser", on January 6th, which will include his recently released single, "Frenzy".

The new album, Iggy's 19th solo release, was executive produced by Andrew Watt (Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone) and is being released by a new partnership between Atlantic Records and Watt's Gold Tooth Records. (read more)


State Champs have shared a visualizer their acoustic version of their song "Outta My Head", an unplugged rendition of a track featured on their latest album, "Kings Of The New Age."

Frontman Derek DiScanio shared, "It's been way too fun stripping down these songs and giving you guys more acoustic jams to listen to. That being said, we're back again with 'Outta My Head' acoustic. Enjoy." (read more)


Coney Hatch will be hitting the road again with Iron Maiden's leader, Steve Harris, when the lads will open shows for Harris' British Lion, on a full UK tour.

This will be the band's first ever UK tour (aside from a couple of one-off shows at Nottingham Firefest in 2011 and 2014) and featuring three members of the original 1980's line-up: bass player & vocalist Andy Curran, lead vocalist & guitarist Carl Dixon, and drummer Dave Ketchum, along with guitarist Sean Kelly (who joined the band in 2018). Alan Jackson's was given an all-star tribute - and a standing ovation - as he was honored with the Country Music Association's highest honor, the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, during the 56th Annual CMA Awards last week.

"Country music's been real good to me. I fell in love with it when I was a young man," Jackson said in accepting the award. "I wanted to come to Nashville and try to carry it on." (read more)


Ringo Starr has shared a video for "Work To Do," featuring Hamish Stuart with Ringo and His All Starr Band, which comes from the forthcoming "Live at the Greek 2019" release.

Thousand Below have released a music video for their new single "Sabotage". The song comes from their forthcoming album "Hell Finds You Everywhere", which will be hitting stores on December 9th.

They had this to say, "We're tremendously excited to release "Sabotage" and announce our third album, 'Hell Finds You Everywhere'. The Kitchen Dwellers have announced their February, 2023 tour dates. The February run will kick off on Feb 3 and 4 with two nights at The Elm in the band's hometown, Bozeman, MT.

The tour will take the band along with special guest, Lindsay Lou along the Pacific Northwest and West Coast and will wrap up in Solana Beach, CA on Feb 19. (read more)


Society 1 members, award winning director Matt Zane and co-director Dagon Destroyer, have begun working on a new film exploring the shock rock genre.

The new film will be Zane's follow up to 2022's documentary "TheAltered Noise" which was about his former bandmate DV Karloff. In the new film, Dagon and Zane will be interviewing various artists as well discussing their own contributions to the genre that they became heavily involved with when Zane began body suspension during the bands performances in 2002. Images of Eden recently released a video for their song "Count To Zero" from their "Weathered and Torn" EP, and to celebrate we asked Gordon Tittsworth to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

Music is therapy. There is no other way to define it. Whenever I write lyrics and/or music, I am giving life to something inanimate. I also believe music has much more influencing power than any other form of self-expression because it speaks beyond the intellectual and to the inner being (the soul/ spirit). It has the power to heal as well as hurt, and it depends on the songwriter's control so there is a level of responsibility that songwriters have during their creative process. Cleopatra Records shared the sad news that Nik Turner, founding member of Hawkwind who contributed saxophone, flute and vocals to the group's first seven albums as well as co-writing some of their most beloved songs, passed away in the evening of November 10th.

His family posted this message: We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Nik Turner - The Might Thunder Rider, who passed away peacefully at home on Thursday evening. He has moved onto the next phase of his Cosmic Journey, guided by the love of his family, friends and fans. (read more)


Guns N' Roses icon Duff McKagan joined his wife and co-host Susan Holmes McKagan for the third episode of their "Three Chords & The Truth Weekend" on SiriusXM's Ozzy's Boneyard.

During the episode, McKagan shared stories from touring with Jane's Addiction, recording with Lenny Kravitz, listening to Suicidal Tendencies, and the time Guns N' Roses flew a helicopter over Soundgarden's crowd in Phoenix, AZ. (read more)


X Japan's Yoshiki, has teamed up with fellow Japanese rockers Hyde, Sugizo and Miyavi in a brand new supergroup called The Last Rockstars, and they have shared a teaser video for two of their tracks.

The teaser video features two new songs, "The Last Rockstars" (lyrics by Yoshiki, composed by Yoshiki) and "Psycho LovE" (lyrics by Yoshiki / Hyde, composed by Hyde). The full songs will be released soon. (read more)


Godsmack have shared a brand new song called "You And I", which is the opening track to their forthcoming studio album, "Lighting Up the Sky" (out February 24, 2023).

Hard Rock Legends UFO have announced that their "No Heavy Petting" Remastered Deluxe Edition 2CD and 3LP 180g Clear Vinyl will be available January 20, 2023.

Originally released in 1975, "No Heavy Petting" is UFO's fifth studio album and the last to be produced by Ten Years After's Leo Lyons. Stepping up from the rawer sound of "Force It," the album was their first to feature a permanent keyboard player in the band and gave a nod to what was to come. The album includes a number of tracks that were to become staples of their live set for many years, including "Natural Thing" and "I'm A Loser." (read more)


Retro-rock duo Royal Sugar have shared a lyric video for their brand new single, "Fleeting Love", which is the follow-up to their rocked up cover of Harry Styles' "Medicine".
