(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones are streaming a collection of previously-unreleased rarities from the newly-available 40th anniversary reissue of their 1981 album, "Tattoo You."

The songs on the set's Lost & Found disc were from the period of the record's original release, and were recently completed and enhanced with additional vocals and guitar by the band. (read more)


"The Doors: Live At The Bowl '68 Special Edition" will be screened for one night only on November 4th and movie theaters across the globe to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band's iconic "L.A. Woman" album.

The special theatric event will include a screening of the full concert film, as well as extras that were filmed exclusively for the big screen: a brand-new musical performance of John Densmore and Robby Krieger with special guests, plus a conversation with Densmore, Krieger, and the band's manager, Jeff Jampol. (hennemusic) Eric Clapton is streaming video of his cover of the 1968 Fleetwood Mac classic, "Black Magic Woman", from his forthcoming live package, "The Lady In The Balcony: Lockdown Sessions."

"This one's for Peter", says Clapton at the start of the song, in dedication to Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green, who passed away in July of 2020 at the age of 73. (read more)


Maddie & Tae will be headlining the 2022 "CMT Next Women of Country Tour Presents: All Song No Static Tour," which will also feature Callista Clark and a CMT Next Women of Country inductee Sacha.

The tour will be kicking off on January 6th at the Town Theatre in Oklahoma City, OK and will be concluding on February 12th at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA. (read more)

The 2CD set "Songs Inspired By The Film The Beatles And India" will be released on October 29, 2021. The album features a diverse cast of Indian artists (Vishal Dadlani, Kiss Nuka, Benny Dayal, Dhruv Ghanekar, Karsh Kale, Nikhil D'Souza, Anoushka Shankar, Farhan Ahktar, Soulmate and many others) all bringing their own musical styles, as well as contemporary and classical Indian influences and techniques to the record.

The album features Beatles' songs written during their stay in Rishikesh, India including "Mother Nature's Son," "Revolution," "Sexy Sadie," "Dear Prudence," "Child of Nature" among others. Metallica have announced the rescheduled dates for their previously postponed South American tour, which will now be taking place in the spring of 2022.

The new trek is set to kick off in Santiago, Chile at Estadio Nacional on April 27th and will wrap up on May 12th at Estadio Do Mineirao in Belo Hornizonte, Brazil. (read more)


Just in time for Halloween, Red Fang host their own funeral for their brand new music video for their track, "Rabbit In Hives", and invited some of their famous music friends to join in their demise.

They once again teamed up with director Ansel Wallenfang for the clip, who documented the sad story of pizza parlor mascot Arnie Von Party for the band's "Why?" video. (read more)


(hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen has announced that he will perform on the Monday, October 25th episode of CBS-TV's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Prior to his solo appearance, the New Jersey rocker will sit down with Colbert to discuss the October 26th release of his new book, "Renegades: Born In The USA", which he co-authored with former President Barack Obama and whose title was inspired by the pair's recent podcast series, "Renegades." (hennemusic) Neil Young And Crazy Horse are sharing a music video for "Song Of The Seasons", a track from the newly-announced forthcoming album, "Barn."

The lead single from the project was "written about a year ago in Canada", revealed Young recently. Due December 10, the follow-up to the group's 2019 album, "Colorado" was recorded in the Rockies this past June with the Le Mobile Recording Studio. (read more)


The Pretty Reckless have announced that they will be returning to the stage next spring to play what will be their first live performance in almost four years.

The shows will be taking place at the brand new 500 person capacity venue Brooklyn Made" on March 22nd and 23rd of next year with tickets going on sale this Friday at 10AM. (read more)


Skid Row fans set your calendar for December 3rd. That is the day a new limited edition box set celebrating their Atlantic Records years is set to be released.

The new set, entitled "Skid Row: The Atlantic Years 1989-1996 Box Set," will feature newly remastered versions of the band's first three studio albums, as well as the "B-Side Ourselves" EP and the live EP, "Subhuman Beings on Tour." (read more)


Midlake have released a lyric video for their brand new single "Meanwhile...". The track is the first taste of the band's first new studio album in eight years.

The group's forthcoming album, entitled "For The Sake Of Bethel Woods", will be released on March 18th, 2022 and is the follow up to their 2013 studio effort, "Antiphon". (read more)


Katie Callahan just released her new album, "The Water Comes Back", and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about one of the tracks, and she selected the song "Low Tide". Here is the story:

The title of my new record, "The Water Comes Back" comes from the chorus of the final track called "Low Tide." It’s about seeing the limitations of capacity clearly, not as a hard barrier, but as part of the ebb and flow of growth, change, and the seasons. The water recedes, the tide goes out, everything on the ocean floor is exposed -- what is it like when the same exposure happens to everything in one’s life? In this case and for me, it was naming the limitations of my mental health, my circumstances, and parenthood as boundaries around chasing a dream while being a healthy mother, artist, and person and not reasons to give up the dream altogether. Dream Theater have released a music video for their song "Awaken The Master". The track comes from the band's recently released 15th studio album, "A View From The Top Of The World."

John Petrucci had this to say, "It's the last song we wrote. It's also the first time I've used my eight-string guitar, which was fun for me. Back in the day when we were writing Awake, I'd always wanted to play a seven-string. So, I ordered myself one." (read more)


Rett Smith has released a performance video for his track "Nickel In My Well" to celebrate the release of his sophomore album, "'What The Walls Cannot See."

Burial Waves have released their new single "Cinema Shame", a track from their forthcoming debut EP, Dark Operative", that is being released digitally on November 12th.

The song was premiered via Treble who called it, "a brawny post-hardcore track that merges the atmospheric density of Hum with the punk immediacy of Fugazi. (read more)


Bring Me The Horizon have announced that they will be playing a special shows at the famed Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles on November 3rd, a head of their Knotfest appearance.

Tickets for the club show will be going on sale today, October 25th, at 12:00PM Pacific Time. This news follows the recently release of the band's new single, "DiE4u," which was accompanied by a music video shot in Keiv and directed by frontman Oli Sykes. (read more)


Orange County rockers Handsome Devil have announced that they will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album with a special performance this coming Friday.

The band's HD20 performance will be taking place October 29th at the The Boohaha Brew Ha Ha Craft Beer Festivals, which is billed as Haunted Oktoberfest at The OC Fairgrounds. (read more)


Insane Clown Posse have announced that they will be holding a special hometown album release party in their native Detroit on October 30th.

The event will be celebrating the release of their new album, "Yum Yum Bedlam," which is set to hit stores on Halloween (October 31st. The band also released a video for the record's new single "Wretched". (read more)


Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas has announced that they will be hosting a very special weekend of music early next year when music legends Metallica and Billy Joel take their state.

Metallica will be kicking things off on Friday, February 25, 2022 with a show that will feature support from Greta Van Fleet. The next night (Feb. 26) Bill Joel will take the stage for a headline performance that will mark his very first stadium show in Sin City. (read more)

The McDonald's themed Black Sabbath tribute extravaganza Mac Sabbath have announced special Los Angeles show next month, and have revealed that their Pop-Up-Drive-Thru Tour has been postponed.

The band will be taking the stage at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on November 5th. They had this to say, "Due to global circumstances beyond our control, we regret to inform you: this year's Pop-Up-Drive-Thru tour will be postponed. (read more)


My Morning Jacket have announced that they will be celebrating the release of their brand new self-titled album by sharing a free livestream this coming Friday.
