(hennemusic) Led Zeppelin have launched a 50th anniversary video series focused on their 1971 album, "Led Zeppelin IV." The first episode in the series features the set's lead single, "Black Dog."

The song's title was inspired by a huge, nameless black Labrador Retriever that wandered around the band's recording sessions at Headley Grange, a mansion in Hampshire, England. (read more)


Staind frontman Aaron Lewis has shared his new single "Goodbye Town". That track comes from his forthcoming solo album, "Frayed At Both Ends", which is set to be released on January 28th.

Aaron said of the upcoming record, "There's so much great music in Nashville, which I think everybody knows. But until you really live here, get to know people, you don't realize how deep it runs. (read more)


(hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen performed a stripped-down, acoustic version of his 1980 classic, "The River", on the Monday, October 25th episode of CBS-TV's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and video of the performance and interview has been shared online.

Springsteen was on hand to promote the October 26th release of his new book, "Renegades: Born In The USA". While discussing how his dedication to his craft as a musician consumed his early years as an artist, the rocker revealed that he eventually found a balance between life and his art. (read more)


Genesis have announced that they have added a brand-new spring 2022 European leg to their Last Domino Reunion Tour and revealed the rescheduled dates for The O2.

The new tour leg will begin with two nights at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin on March 7th and 8th and will wrap up at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on March 21st. (read more)


Pink Floyd legend Nick Mason and his solo band Saucerful Of Secrets have announced that they will be launching a North American Tour early next year.

They had this to say, "Set the controls...for your diaries! We've just announced 26 North American #SaucerfulOfSecrets dates in major cities across the US & Canada including Boston, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The tour starts on January 18th in Toronto and concludes on February 28th, 2022 in Vancouver." (read more)


The Gaslight Anthem's Brian Fallon has announced that he will be launching a North American tour with his longtime live band, The Howling Weather, early next year.

The trek will feature 37 stops and is set to kick off at The State Theatre in Portland, ME on January 11th and will wrap up on March 4th in Red Bank, NJ at the Count Basie Center For The Arts. (read more)


Lit have released a lyric video for their brand new single "Yeah Yeah Yeah" as they continue to work on their next album, which they expect to release in spring 2022.

"We not only got back to our old school roots, but also found a good marriage between the classic sound of 1999 with a modern production vibe." (read more)


Supergroup The Immediate Family have a full schedule this Fall/Winter with bandmates Danny Kortchmar, Russ Kunkel and Leland Sklar's participation in the documentary Carole King & James Taylor: Just Call Out My Name, premiering on CNN and HBO Max and also performing with Carole King at her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony on October 30. The band then heads out on their national tour in support of their new album The Immediate Family released on Quarto Valley Records.

Prior to forming The Immediate Family, Kortchmar, Kunkel and Sklar have worked together since the early '70s as the legendary ensemble "The Section" backing up James Taylor and Carole King on The Troubadour Reunion Tour as well as appearing on Taylor and King's various albums. (read more)


Moon Tooth have released a music video for their brand new single "Nymphaeaceae", a track that was produced by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Trivium, Korn).

They recruited Tom Flynn to direct the video which was inspired by the song's lyrics. Nick Lee had this to say, "The title is the scientific name for water lilies." (read more)


Our Darkest Days have released their new single "Sea Of Lies". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "Snakes & Ladders", which will be released on November 19th.

The band had this to say about the single, "Life is a journey that has its ups and downs, and even though the ideal path is a straight clean line this is hardly never the case. Even the easiest of routes can have unforeseen challenges that surface with no warning. (read more)


Orphaned Land have announced that they will be releasing a limited edition 30th anniversary 8-disc CD box set called "30 Years Of Oriental Metal" on December 10th.

The set will feature 6 full-length albums and two CDs featuring a bonus song collection from the past 30 years. The box also contains an extended 112-page booklet with special liner notes for each album from frontman Kobi Farhi. (read more)


Irish pop-punkers Light Grey will be self-releasing their brand new EP, entitled "Are You Even Real" this Friday, October 29th as they continue their mission to represent rock music in homeland.

They said of the EP, "The main theme behind the EP is the complexities of a friendship gone sour, it's about coming to the realization that the friends you had were never really there for you in the first place. This is why we gave it the title 'Are You Even Real'. (read more)


Steve Earle and City Winery have announced the 7th Annual John Henry's Friends Benefit concert, which will take place on December 13th at The Town Hall in New York City.

Hosted by Steve Earle, the event will feature performances from Steve Earle & The Dukes, Bruce Springsteen, Rosanne Cash, The Mastersons, Willie Nile, and Matt Savage. (read more)

French melodic metal band Devoid recently released their new album "Lonely Eye Movement", and to celebrate we asked guitarist Shad Mae to tell us about the title track. Here is the story:

Depression is a killer, a monster, a beast, that hides in the dark to catch you without warning. The weird thing about it, if you know, where to look for it or if you do listen closely, you'd probably never find out about, who is struggling with it. Those, that have to deal with it on a daily basis, find ways to hide it, which in return only makes it even harder to bear. (continue)


Five Finger Death Punch have announced that they will be returning to Europe next spring to launch their first tour European tour since 2020 that will feature headline shows and music festival appearances.

They will be kicking things off with an appearance at the Nova Rock Festival in Austria on June 12th and have announced dates through July 16th where they will rock the U Park Festival in Kiev, Ukraine. (read more)


Metallica are streaming pro-shot video of a performance of their 1999 track, "No Leaf Clover", from a September 16 club show in San Francisco, CA.

The event marked the band's first live concert in front of an audience in 738 days when they took the stage at The Independent. The club in Metallica's hometown put single wristbands for the 500-capacity venue on sale in the afternoon for $20 each, and they quickly sold-out within an hour. (read more)


W.A.S.P. have announced the European leg of their 40th Anniversary World Tour that they will be launching next year, with a U.S. tour still to be announced.

They will be launching the trek on March 18th In Milan at Live Club and have announced dates through May 18th in Sofia at the Universidada Sports Hall. (read more)


Scotty McCreery has announced that he will be hitting the road early next year to launch his Same Truck Tour, which will visit 15 cities across the United States.

He is launching the tour in support of his new studio album, "Same Truck", and will be kicking things off on January 20th at The Ritz in Raleigh, N.C. and trek will featured varied support from Kameron Marlowe, King Calaway, Callista Clark and Tenille Arts. (read more)


Phantom Limb has shared a lyric video for their new song "Shave Your Head." The track is the third single off their forthcoming album, "Pastoral," which will be released on November 16th.

frontman Andrew Laningham had this to say about the song, "'Shave Your Head' is about needing to destroy a part of yourself in order to figure out which parts of life are the most crucial. When I was writing the lyrics to this song, I was stuck in a place where I felt like my daily routine of writing endless emails and working all the time was taking over my personal life. I started having these dreams where I was pulling out my teeth and shaving my head. I felt like I needed to cut off some part of my current self in order to feel normal again, which was scary. Venom Prison have set a February 4, 2022 release date for their new studio album, "Erebos" and have shared the Eliran Kantor created cover art for the record.

Ashley McBryde has announced that she has added 18 additional dates to her This Town Talks Tour that will feature support from Ashland Craft.

The new dates begin on January 27th at the The NorVa in Norfolk, Va and run until April 9th where she will wrap things up at The Admiral in Omaha, Nebraska. (read more)

Twilight Force have announced that they will be returning to the road early in 2023 for their Winter Wonder Tour to promote their latest album "Dawn Of The Dragonstar".

The trek will include 20 stops across Europe, including 3 shows in the UK, and will be kicking off on January 20th in Copenhagen at Templet, and will conclude on February 11th in Berlin. (read more)
