Def Leppard, Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon and John Taylor, are just some of the stars that will be taking part in the second annual A Bowie Celebration.

The special event will coincide with what would have been David Bowie's 75th birthday on January 8, 2022 and will be livestreamed via RollingLiveStudios.com, just like last year's inaugural event. (read more)


Mammoth WVH, Megadeth, Five Finger Death Punch are just some of the big named acts that have just been added to the 2022 edition of Welcome To Rockville.

The festival will feature over 75 acts performing on four stages at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida over the weekend of May 19-22, 2022. (read more)


Howard Jones (Light The Torch, Killswitch Engage) guest stars in the Eyes Set To Kill's brand new music video for their latest single "Face The Rain".

The track, which also features a guest appearance from Jones, comes from the band's new EP "DAMNA". Alexia Rodriguez had this to say about the clip, "We are so excited to share our music video for Face The Rain. We are all giant fans of Howard Jones and performing alongside was one of the highlights of our year!" (read more)


Motionless In White, Black Veil Brides and Ice Nine Kills have announced that they will be teaming up for the Trinity Of Terror Tour next spring.

The triple co-headline North American tour will feature the bands alternating the closing set each night with the trek getting underway on March 17th in Mesa, AZ. (read more)


Bright Eyes have announced that they will be returning to the road next spring with a series of U.S. tour dates they will be launching in support of their 2020 reunion album.

The new dates follow the group's shows last summer that marked their first time playing together again in over a decade. They released the album, "Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was," in August of 2020. (read more)


Dropkick Murphys have released a music video for their song "Good As Gold" that was w directed by Dave Stauble of Punchdance Studios. The track comes from the band's "Turn Up That Dial" album.

Jethro Tull have released a music video for their new single, "Sad City Sisters", which was directed by Iranian film-maker Sam Chegini who previously created a clip for the classic "Aqualung".

The song is the second single from the iconic band's first new studio album in over 18 years, "The Zealot Game", that will be released by Inside Out Music on January 28th. (read more)


Sheri Miller recently released her new EP "Waking Up To This Miracle Life," and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about the powerful title track and latest single from the effort. Here is the story:

As I was writing lyrics for "Waking Up To This Miracle Life" I strongly felt the energy of Joan of Arc, great warrior and heroine. Her energy was brilliantly strong, undeniable. Words started crystallizing in my mind "I've worn the key that locked me up in chains. I've sold myself as a martyr as a slave. I felt like Joan of Arc, Sword of Orleans raised, charging the night, with fierce second sight. My wild desire, a stallion ahead, I rode blind-folded where I was led. 'Till seizing the wind blowing his hair, I lifted on the wings of a simple prayer." In a rushing, gushing stream, I easily received a hurricane of lyrics, ripe with her valor and warrior energy. Glowing words that felt already written, floating, sparkling in the ethers. My work was to capture this magic. (continue)


(hennemusic) AC/DC's 1980 blockbuster classic, "Back In Black", has been named the Greatest Australian Album Of All Time in a new survey by Rolling Stone Australia.

The project topped the magazine's newly-published list of the "200 Greatest Australian Albums Of All Time", which spans 55 years of Australian popular music - stretching from 1965 right up until 2020 - with a focus on the individual records that have defined, characterized and subverted the sound and shape of Australian music history. Underoath have shared a visualizer video for their brand new single "Numb". That track comes from the group's forthcoming album, "Voyeurist," which will be hitting stores on January 14th via Fearless Records.

Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) and Billy Morrison (Billy Idol) have announced additional special guests who will be joining them at the third Above Ground benefit concert later this month.

The special event will be taking place on December 20 at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA and will feature Navarro and Morrison joined by their guests in performing the iconic albums, Lou Reed's "Transformer" (1972) and Sex Pistol's "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols" (1977). CMT Christmas Crossroads: Brett Young & Friends will be premiering tonight, December 8 at 8/7c on CMT to celebrate his very first Christmas album, "Brett Young & Friends Sing The Christmas Classics."

Just like the album, the television special will feature Brett joined by all-star lineup of special guests including Boyz II Men, Chris Tomlin, Colbie Caillat, Dann Huff, Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw and Maddie & Tae. (read more)

AC/DC lead guitarist Angus Young had a top 21 story from February 2021 after he revealed that the band never really considered making an album with Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose after he took over lead vocals for their Rock Or Bust Tour.

Rose stepped in help the legendary band complete the tour after frontman Brian Johnson was warned by doctors that he faced permanent hearing loss if he continued on the trek. (read more)


KISS frontman Paul Stanley earned a top 21 story from February 2021 after addressed the rumor that Eddie Van Halen was planning to leave his group to join KISS. Stanley was interviewed by The Jeremy White Podcast and last week the show shared an excerpt of the chat to mark the anniversary of Van Halen's debut album.

The show said, "On February 10th 1978, Van Halen released their iconic debut album! #PaulStanley talks about seeing Van Halen in LA and how he didn't think it was a good idea for their manager to sign them... we also discuss how #EddieVanHalen influenced the scene and picking the next guitar player for KISS. (hennemusic) Chris Cornell's widow, Vicky Cornell was the subject of a top 21 story from February 2021 after it was reported that she was suing the surviving members of Soundgarden over terms of a "buyout price" for her stake in the band on behalf of the Chris Cornell Estate.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Vicky states in the suit that Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron offered her $300,000 for Chris' share in the group; she goes on to claim the offer was insufficient based on the value of an outside investor's offer of $16 million for Soundgarden's master tapes, which she concludes would represent $4 million for each partner. (hennemusic) Metallica had a top 21 story from February 2021 after a series of vinyl reissues helped the band make US chart history after the legendary metal band captured all top 5 spots on the vinyl albums chart.

The band 's newly-remastered, colored vinyl editions of their classic albums recently made available via Walmart have helped Metallica secure the Top 5 spots on the Vinyl Albums chart; according to Billboard, the feat marks "the first time that an artist has claimed the entire top 5 of the #VinylAlbums chart, dating to its launch in 2011." Former Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton had a top 21 story from February 2021 after he shared that he was shocked to learn that he was included in the band's long overdue nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

Despite the band still filling stadiums across the world and influencing bands like Metallica who have already been inducted, this year marks the first year that Iron Maiden has been nominated by the Rock Hall. (read more)


(hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen had a top 21 story from February 2021 after news surfaced that he was arrested for DWI - driving while intoxicated - in his home state of New Jersey in late 2020.

TMZ was the first to report the alleged November 14 incident, which saw Springsteen cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, NJ. (read more)


Thomas Zwijsen earned a top 21 story from February 2021 after he released a video online of his classical fingerstyle guitar cover the Journey mega hit "Don't Stop Believing" from the band's 1981 album "Escape".

Zwijsen says in the video description, "Don't Stop Believing, the original, was released in 1981 with Steve Perry on vocals (who also wrote the song). Journey published multiple live versions, such as Live in Houston - Escape Tour 1981, Live in Japan 2017, Live in 2009, and UNICEF Won't Stop with Arnel Pineda on vocals. (read more)
