Organizers of the When We Were Young Festival has announced that they have added a third date for the event on Saturday, October 29th at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

This will be in addition to the previously announced dates of October 22nd and 23rd and will include almost the same line-up with the exception of Alex G replacing Wolf Alice, and La Dispute not taking part in the third date. (read more)


The original 2005 lineup of A Skylit Drive have announced that they have reunited in celebration of the 15th anniversary of their debut EP and will be making their first performance back together at the So What Music Festival.

The band, Jordan Blake, Joey Wilson, Brian White and Cory La Quay, will be performing their debut EP, "She Watch The Sky", on May 29th, the final day of the festival that is taking place at the Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, TX. (read more)


Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has revealed that one of the songs on the band's landmark "Number Of The Beast" is missing a key element.

Bruce made the revelation during the Tampa stop of his current spoken-word tour last week. A fan submitted question asked Dickinson what he considers to be the band's most underrated song. (read more)


Franz Ferdinand have premiered a music video for their new track "Curious." That track is featured on the band's forthcoming greatest hits collection, "Hits To The Head", which will be released on March 11th.

vein.fm have premiered a brand new track called "Fear In Non Fiction" that features a guest appearance from Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly and comes from their forthcoming album "This World Is Going to Ruin You".

Rickly had this to say about the collaboration, "Vein.fm continually give me hope. They never stop pushing: pushing the limits of their sound, pushing themselves to the edge of their physical abilities to make noise. (read more)


Underoath have announced that they have recruited Stray From The Path and Bad Omens to replace Every Time I Die on their upcoming North American tour.

The winter trek, which will also feature Spiritbox, was originally set to include Every Time I Die, but the band recently announced that they have split up. (read more)


Biffy Clyro have announced that they will be launching their first North American tour in five years this spring, with a 15-city coast to coast trek and an appearance at the Shaky Knees Festival.

The outing will mark the band's first tour in the U.S. and Canada since 2017 and is set to kick off on April 17th in Chicago at the House of Blues and will wrap up on May 9th in Los Angeles. (read more)


Kenny Chesney has announced a very special Valentine's Day gift for his fans, he will be releasing his brand new single "Everyone She Knows," on February 14th.

The new song will be the follow-up to Kenny's chart topping single "Knowing You" and was written by Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman and Josh Osborne. (read more)


Stereophonics have shared a stream of their brand new single "Forever". The track comes from their forthcoming album "Oochya!", which will arrive on Friday, March 4th.

Frontman Kelly Jones had this to say about the song, "'Forever' is about escapism. It's about longing for a freedom for someone and taking away the pain they're going through. It's about taking a bullet for them. It's about wanting to free the ones you love of pain but we can't - life's pain is where we find growth. The song has a lot wrapped up in it. Joe Satriani has released a music video for his brand-new single "Sahara". The track comes from his forthcoming album, "The Elephants of Mars," which will hit stores on April 8th.

The video was directed by ZZ Satriani and Joe had this to say about what will be his 19th studio album, "I want to show people that an instrumental guitar album can contain far more creative and entertaining elements than I think people are using right now." (read more)


Failure have announced that they will launching a North American tour this summer to promote their recently released album, "Wild Type Droid."

The shows on the tour will include a special preview of the forthcoming Failure documentary and the trek is set to kick off on June 2nd at the Music Box in San Diego. (read more)


Bryan Adams has released a music video for his brand new single "Never Gonna Rain". The track comes from his forthcoming studio album, "So Happy It Hurts," which will arrive March 11th.

He had this to say about the song, "The ultimate optimist is someone who keeps on expecting the best, even in the face of the worst. Living in the moment, instead of in fear. Turning the negatives into positives. Taking the rain and turning it into a gift." (read more)


Punk veterans UK Subs have released a brand new single called "Sensei," which is available digitally and as a special 7" vinyl (RED or BLUE) with their cover of The Equals' "Diversion" on the B-side.

Alvin Gibbs had this to say about the new track, "After the COVID plague put a skewered nut in our bolt for a while there, the UK Subs are now delighted to resume normal service with a record released by our friends at Cleopatra. (read more)


Jordan Davis has just scored his fourth No. 1 single at country radio in the U.S. with "Buy Dirt," his collaboration with Luke Bryan, which has also topped the charts in Canada and Australia.

Davis had this to say, "This is the most special song I have released. From writing it with my brother and two of my best friends, to having Luke want to be a part of it...it's going to be hard to top. (read more)


Louisiana alt-rockers Inside Voices just released their new EP, "Liminal Space", and to celebrate we asked Tyler Jones (vocals/guitars) to tell us about the track "A Hero Appears". Here is the story:

This song, funnily enough, happens to be influenced by my interpretation of the anime, "Ping Pong the Animation". There are so many interesting philosophies in that show, but a huge takeaway for me was the representation of what untapped potential looks and feels like. (continue)
