Aerosmith have announced that they are returning to Las Vegas this spring to launch the return of their Deuces Are Wild Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

The band has announced 24 dates for the new residency beginning on June 17th through December 11th with various pre-sales beginning this week and public on sale kicking off at 10AM PT on March 31st. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Red Hot Chili Peppers will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame next week. The March 31 event will see the band joined by special guests, while George Clinton - who produced the group's 1985 record, "Freaky Styley" - will unveil the star alongside Bob Forrest and actor Woody Harrelson.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be honored with the 2,717th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; the star will be dedicated in the category of Recording in front of Amoeba Music at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard. (read more)


(hennemusic) Guns N' Roses have announced dates for a South American tour. The band will launch a 4-show stadium series in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 30, before performing in Montevideo, Uruguay, Santiago, Chile and Lima, Peru.

"We're back, South America!" says Guns N' Roses. A Nightrain members presale for events in Santiago and Lima is now underway, while Montevideo access starts March 24 @ 10am local time, and Buenos Aires access starts March 24 @ 12pm local time. (read more)


(hennemusic) Eddie Vedder has teamed up with NASA on a video collaboration for "Invincible", which is the opening track from his latest solo album, "Earthling."

The project is inspired by NASA's Artemis I Moon mission, which will see the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft - the only human-rated spacecraft in the world capable of deep-space travel - lift off from Launch Pad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center for the uncrewed Artemis I mission around the Moon. Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe has announced his new album and revealed that he recruited Guns N' Roses legend Slash to play on the title track.

The album will be entitled "I Live Too Fast To Die You" and is set to be released on June 10th. The title track features Slash playing solos and additional guitars. (read more)


Bauhaus have shared a brand new track called "Drink The New Wine", which found Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins and David J recording in an unusual way.

We were sent these details: "Drink The New Wine" was recorded last year during lockdown with the four members sharing audio files. The track employs the Surrealists' 'Exquisite Corpse' device whereby each artist adds to the piece without seeing what the others have done. (read more)


Michael Schenker have announced that MSG will be hitting the road this fall for a U.S. of his 50th anniversary tour, which will feature support from Eric Martin and Images Of Eden for the bulk of the trek.

MSG will also be promoting their new album, "Universal," that is hitting stores on May 27th. The tour is set to kick off on September 27th in San Juan Capistrano, CA at The Coach House. (read more)


(hennemusic) Clutch have announced dates for a winter tour of the UK and Europe.

The five-week series will open in Glasgow as part of a five-show UK run before the Maryland rockers head to Europe for a month of performances, returning to the UK for five more dates that will see the group wrap things up in London on December 17. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Scorpions are sharing a lyric video for the song "Knock 'Em Dead," which is a track from the band's newly-released studio album, "Rock Believer."

"This one takes us back, memory lane," says Klaus Meine. "New York City, the Big Apple. Where we played the first shows in the US around '79, our mangers used to say before we walked out on stage: 'Go, knock 'em dead' And we did it. Few years later, we rocked Madison Square Garden being the headliner, and I guess the rest is history!" (read more)


The Great South Bay Music Festival is returning this summer. The four-date festival will be taking place at Shorefront Park in Patchogue Village, NY from July 7th through July 10th.

Hellblind, the new band featuring Mark Clayden (Pitchshifter) and Paul Fletcher (Romeo Must Die), just released their debut EP, "A Plague On All Your Houses," and to celebrate we asked vocalist Adam Frakes-Sime to tell us about the song "Hitched". Here is the story:

The subject matter of Hitched doesn't bear a great deal of resemblance to anything I would usually write about. There is no self analysis and I am not commenting on a specific social situation. The majority of the song is also far slower in tempo than I would usually be comfortable with, which I think in hindsight may have pushed me to approach it slightly differently to normal.
