Sammy Hagar & The Circle performed the Foo Fighter's "My Hero" at the Beale Street Music Fest in in Memphis, TN last Friday (April 29th) in tribute to the band's late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

The former Van Halen frontman's band was called on to take the place of the Foo Fighters at the event after they canceled live appearances following Hawkins death on May 25th in Bogota, Colombia. (read more)


Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne is "doing well" in his fight with Covid-19, his son Jack Osbourne said during a media appearance late last week.

Jack was asked about Ozzy's condition during an appearance on TalkTV's The News Desk last Thursday (April 28th). He responded, "He's doing well. I spoke to him shortly before coming in. He just says, I'll save the colorful language, but he says it sucks." (read more)


Awolnation have announced that they will be hitting the road for their headlining Falling Forward Tour this fall that will feature special guests Badflower and support The Mysterines.

The U.S. tour will be kicking off on October 6th in Salt Lake City, UT at The Complex - Rockwell and will conclude on November 18th in Seattle, WA at Moore Theatre. (read more)


Texas rockers Blacktop Mojo have released an animated, "Jealousy/Make Believe," a two track compilation and first installment for the 3 song concept within their 2021 released, self-titled album.

Created by frontman Matt James and bassist Catt Murtis on the porch of the band's house in Palestine, TX, with an acoustic guitar, "Jealousy/Make Believe" blossomed in Nashville with the help of producer Philip Mosley. (read more)


The 40th anniversary of 38 Special's "Special Forces" album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

The host had this to say, "It's the fortieth anniversary of the multi-million seller fifth album Special Forces by 38 Special. Tangerine Dream have shared a trailer for their forthcoming "La Divina Commedia" (AKA The Dante Trilogy) Deluxe 6 Disc Hardback Book, which is set to be released on May 27, 2022 on Kscope

Tangerine Dream has been a fundamental influence on electronic music since Edgar Froese founded the band in West Berlin in 1967. Providing the groundwork for multiple electronic music genres including ambient and electronica, inspiring musicians and other art forms, with seven Grammy nominations to their credit. In recent years their music has featured in the popular TV shows such as "Stranger Things" and video games including "Grand Theft Auto V." (read more)


Corey Feldman has announced that he will be launching his first U.S. tour in five years in late summer to promote his new album, "Love Left 2: Arm Me With Love," and box set "Love Left 2.1".

The actor has shared the initial dates for the Love Retours (22 + A Few In 22) tour, where he will be joined by an all-new backing band. The trek is set to launch on August 19th in Fort Worth. (read more)
