(hennemusic) Guns N' Roses' 1987 classic, "Sweet Child O' Mine", has topped the US Hot Hard Rock Songs chart following its inclusion in a trailer for upcoming movie "Thor: Love And Thunder."

According to Billboard, the song debuts at No. 1 on the latest chart after it earned 4.7 million official U.S. streams - an 8% boost - and sold 1,600 downloads, up 181%, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data. A staple of classic hits and rock radio, it also drew 1.2 million in audience on stations that report to Billboard's Radio Songs chart. (read more)

alt-J have released a music video for their single "The Actor." The song comes from the band's current studio album, "The Dream", which was released back in February.

The video was directed by Saskia Dixie (Nike, About Town, Sinead O'Brien), and "tells the tale of a classically all- American couple who have been through the ringer," according to the announcement. (read more)


Organizers have announced the details for this year's installment of the Lost 80's Live tour, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The tour is set to kick off on August 5th in Cohasset, MA at the South Short Music Circus and will wrap up on September 23rd in Aurora, IL at the PIAZZA. (read more)


Darius Rucker has announced that he will be launching the Riverfront Revival Music Festival in his hometown of Charleston, S.C. at Riverfront Park on October 8th and 9th.

Rucker will headline the event and has recruited Brothers Osborne, Trampled By Turtles, Jimmie Allen, Charley Crockett, SUSTO and more to perform across the two stages. (read more)

World-famous German composer, musician and producer Klaus Schulze passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 74 after a long disease but all of a sudden. In his sense we will bid farewell to him in the closest family circle.
