(hennemusic) Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett is debuting an animated video for "High Plains Drifter", ahead of the April 23 Record Store Day release of his first solo project, "Portals."

Although he didn't plan it in advance, the song's vibe and title were inspired by the classic 1973 Clint Eastwood western of the same name. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones are sharing video of a performance of their 2002 single, "Don't Stop", as the latest preview to the June 10 release of an expanded and remastered reissue of their 2003 concert film, "Licked Live In NYC."

The song - which was one of four new tracks from the "Forty Licks" compilation - was featured during the band's appearance at Madison Square Garden during their 40th anniversary tour that was originally issued as an HBO special and part of the "Four Flicks" package. (read more)

Due June 10, "Off The Soundboard: Live At Donington 1996" captures the group's original lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss in performance on August 17, 1996 as part of the band's Alive/Worldwide reunion tour. (read more)


Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has teamed up with NASA to interview the crew aboard the International Space Station in celebration of Earth Day 2022.

The interview is the second collaboration with NASA teams as he worked with them on his "Invincible" music video inspired by their Artemis I Moon mission in support of his recent chart topping album Earthling. (read more)


Luke Combs has shared a lyric video for his new track "Tomorrow Me", to celebrate the news that he will be releasing his new album, "Growin' Up", on June 24th.

Combs had this to say about the new album, "I've been working on this album on and off for two and a half years now. It was sort of a crazy process through what COVID brought, and what that meant for our touring life last year. It made me have to put a pause on this album for a second, but I'm just really stoked that it's finally coming out. (read more)


Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May has released a music video for his track "On My Way Up" to celebrate the expanded reissue of his 1998 solo album "Another World".

"The central character of this song is someone who is basically a loser," says May, "but has total belief and a kind of insane optimism, and he's going somewhere, you know, 'Man, I'm on my way' kind of thing. (read more)

The EP Leave No Trace is an album of loneliness, questioning, overthinking and acceptance. The song "Samuel" is spiteful, whereas "Smiling" calls a lover back. The track "Right Reasons" is reassuring in the aftermath of the single "Wild and Free." (continue)
