Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar revealed in a recent interview that his supergroup The Circle will be releasing a new studio album called "Crazy Times" soon.

Hagar spoke about the record, which was produced by Dave Cobb (Rival Sons and Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators), with Forbes during a chat with his forthcoming "Cocktail Hits" book. (read more)


Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have released a music video for their single "April Fool". The track comes from the band's latest studio album "4".

The legendary Guns N' Roses guitarist had this to say, "I've got a lot of tapes of us jamming 'April Fool' at soundchecks without knowing where it would go, and although it took awhile to put together, it's a cool riff. (read more)


Ill Nino have announced that they have reunited with original guitarist Marc Rizzo and have just released a music video for their new single "This Is Over", from the forthcoming album "IllMortals" (out June 10th).

Marcos Leal says of the new track, "'This Is Over' conveys a message of taking control of the outside negativity that can consume your everyday life. From the darkest forms of harassment and violations of privacy from others, to the worst self doubts and anxiety within ourselves. (read more)


Hollywood Records have announced that Queen's The Platinum Collection To be released on vinyl for the first time as a limited-edition 6LP color vinyl box set on June 17th. The label sent over the following details:

Scottish rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks have announced that they will crossing the pond next month to launch a U.S. Summer tour that will feature support from Weakened Friends.

They will be launching the tour to promote their latest album, "Enjoy The View", and will be kicking things off on June 7th at the Anchor Rock Club in Atlantic City. (read more)


Mercury Studios have shared a trailer for their release of Phil Lynott Songs For While I'm Away + Thin Lizzy The Boys Are Back In Town Live At The Sydney Opera House October 1978, which will arrive on June 24.

Pairing the acclaimed Phil Lynott documentary with a renowned live concert film, the set will be available as a 2xDVD+CD and Blu-ray+DVD+CD (with the Phil Lynott documentary on the Blu-ray). (read more)


New Zealand rockers Black Smoke Trigger entered producer Nick Raskulinecz's (Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Halestorm) Rock Falcon studio on April 20th to record their first official EP.

The band has collaborated with Disturbed's David Draiman, Marti Frederickson (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne), Blair Daly and Zac Maloy (Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Keith Urban) and Keith Wallen (of Breaking Benjamin). (read more)


Jeremy Nesse continues his tribute to the music of Peter Gabriel with the release of Volume 4 of his "Through The Wire" project that features a collective of over 140 acclaimed musicians across 5 continents, including bassist Tony Levin, have come together remotely to celebrate Peter Gabriel's musical legacy. Jeremy Nesse and Deane Arnold have been producing reimagined, new recordings of Gabriel's songs.

In a project prompted in part by the remote spirit of the global pandemic, the musicians have managed to collaborate from as far away as New Zealand, Europe, and Asia. (read more)


SiriusXM have announced that they will be celebrate the release of Def Leppard's new album, "Diamond Halos," with a special intimate concert and the launch of Def Leppard radio.

The special invitation-only concert will be taking place in Los Angeles at the Whiskey a Go Go for SiriusXM listeners as part of the service's Small Stage Series on May 26th, the eve of the album release. (read more)

Killswitch Engage have shared a live video performance of their track "Vide Infra" to celebrate the announcement of their forthcoming "Live At The Palladium" package.

(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing pro-shot video of their performance of their 1988 classic, "One", from the April 27th concert at Club Hipico in Santiago, Chile.

The third single from "...And Justice For All" has the historical significance of being the band's first track to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100 - where it peaked at No. 35 - as well as being the first music video issued by the group. (read more)


Saliva have shared a music video for their latest single "Revelation Man", and announced that they will be teaming up with Otherwise for a summer tour.

The trek is scheduled to kick off on June 2nd in Columbia, SC at New Brookland Tavern and will conclude on June 23rd in Lawrence, KS at The Bottleneck. (read more)


Wintersun have announced that have parted ways with guitar player Asim Searah after working with him for five years, because they did not "see eye to eye on some things".

The band explained, "We have decided to part ways with our 2nd guitarist Asim Searah, who has been with us as a session guitarist since 2017. We shared good times on and off the stage, but we didn't see eye to eye on some things and we weren't happy with everything behind the scenes. So after careful consideration we think this decision is best for everyone." (read more)
