Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen says in a new interview that he believes Motley Crue have signed on to expand their upcoming Stadium Tour beyond North America.

Collen made the comments during a chat with Chile's Radio Furo about the band's brand new album, "Diamond Star Halos", and their plans for touring in support of the effort, including this summer's Stadium Tour. (read more)


(hennemusic) Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth is hinting at a possible change in his retirement status in a new video filmed by Fox News. The rocker - who was spotted leaving the Los Angeles International Airport after returning from a recent performance in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - was asked if he was going back on tour any time soon.

"There's always a tomorrow for a singer, not so much for a trombone player these days," replied Roth. "How many times did Rocky retire? Seven. I think No. 3 was my favorite? How many times did Rambo have to come out of retirement in order to make the sequel?" (read more)


Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang Van Halen took to social media this week to speak out about Reelz TV's upcoming premiere of "Autopsy: The Last Hours Of... Eddie Van Halen" this coming Sunday.

Wolfgang wrote, "F*** @ReelzChannel, f*** everyone that works on this show, and f*** you if you watch it. F***ing disgusting trying to glamorize someone's death from cancer. Pathetic and heartless." (read more)


Asking Alexandria have announced that they have been forced to cancel the remaining dates on their current US tour with Nothing More, Atreyu and Eva Under Fire, due to frontman Danny Worsnop suffering a throat infection.

They group had this to say, "To all of our AAFamily, as you're aware by now, we have had to miss the last few shows of our tour because Danny has suffered from a severe throat infection. Today, we all woke up early in anticipation of receiving news from a voice specialist in Nashville. Unfortunately, the news we received was not the news we were hoping for and we have been told that Danny cannot sing for the next few weeks and needs to remain on vocal rest. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones delivered the debut performance of their 1966 classic, "Out Of Time", at the 60th anniversary tour opener in Madrid, Spain on June 1st.

As Rolling Stone notes, the appearance of the song - from the band's 1966 album, "Aftermath" - "stunned fans" early in the set at the city's Metropolitano Stadium, which opened with "Street Fighting Man" and was otherwise similar to the concerts they played throughout the States last year. (hennemusic) Legendary Yes vocalist/songwriter Jon Anderson will be performing his former band's 1972 album classic, "Close To The Edge", on a summer US tour with The Paul Green Rock Academy .

Jon and the ensemble will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the project by performing the album in its entirety, along with other classics and surprises. (read more)


Amon Amarth have released a video for their new single "Get In The Ring" to celebrate the announcement that they will be releasing their twelfth studio album, 'The Great Heathen Army' , on August 5th.

Frontman Johan Hegg had this to say about the album, "Overall 'The Great Heathen Army' is one of the heavier albums we've made. There are some dark and heavy songs that are really powerful and in-your-face, but we obviously have some trademark melodic Amon Amarth songs on there as well, and a few surprises too. It's a really well-balanced album. It sounds great. Andy Sneap is awesome. It was great to be able to work with him again." (read more)


Unearth have announced they will be touring for a few weeks this summer hitting many European Festivals and club shows this July and August, followed by two U.S. festivals, Summit Fest in Ohio and Blue Ridge Rock Fest in Virginia this August and September, respectfully.

The band is also happy to announce Mike Justian (of Madball) will be re-joining Unearth on drums for all upcoming live performances, replacing Nick Pierce. (read more)


Derek Sherinian has released a video for his new single "The Scorpion". The track comes from his forthcoming album, "Vortex", which will arrive on July 1st.

The new album sees the Sons of Apollo and Black Country Communion keyboardist reuniting with legendary drummer Simon Phillips, who once again co-wrote and co-produced the album. They are joined by Tony 'The Fretless Monster' Franklin, on bass. (read more)
