David Lee Roth is reportedly the reason for the delay of the Eddie Van Halen all-star tribute tour plans, according to comments from radio personality Eddie Trunk.

The SiriusXM host shared during his broadcast on Friday (July 1st), "I had a very, very, very reliable source tell me last night at The Black Crowes show that the hold-up on the Van Halen-anything happening is a lot of it falling on David Lee Roth. (read more)


Journey celebrated July 4th with the release of a visualizer video for their new song "United We Stand". The track comes from the band's forthcoming album, "Freedom".

The new album is set to hit stores this coming Friday, July 8th. The band had this to say about the new song, "More than ever, we need to take care of each other and look after one another. (hennemusic) Guns N' Roses were joined by country music star Carrie Underwood during back-to-back stadium shows in London, UK over the 4th of July weekend.

The country superstar teamed up with GNR for both "Sweet Child O' Mine" and show-closer "Paradise City" during July 1 and 2 concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones covered the 1965 Bob Dylan classic, "Like A Rolling Stone", during the second of two concerts in London's Hyde Park on July 3rd, and fan filmed video has been shared online.

The event marked the 60th anniversary tour debut of the song, with the band's 1973 hit, "Angie", also making its first appearance during the trek. Following a June 25 show at the same venue, it was the sixth concert in the series, which opened in Madrid, Spain on June 1. (read more)


(hennemusic) Metallica have shared video of a performance of their 1984 classic, "Trapped Under Ice", during a June 19th appearance at the Firenze Rocks festival in Florence, Italy.

The tune from the band's second album, "Ride The Lightning", was featured during their headline set on the final night of the four-day event, which also saw appearances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and Jerry Cantrell, among others. (read more)


Doom metal supergroup MMXX have shared their debut single, "This Breath Is Not My Breath," which features guest vocalist Mikko Kotamaki of Swallow the Sun.

MMXX features Andrea Chiodetti (ex-The Foreshadowing) on guitars and keys, Jesse Haff on drums (Daylight Dies and Gokbori), and Egan O'Rourke (Daylight Dies) on bass. (read more)


Glass Animals have announced that they will be "Dreamland: Real Life Edition," on August 5th in various formats including deluxe CD and cassette, as well as a limited edition glow in the dark vinyl.

Dave Bayley had this to say, "Back in 2020, we had this delicately constructed, intricate plan to launch Dreamland with a bunch of special shows, signings and real-life events. Then... we got spanked by the pandemic, and we had to tear our plan in half. (read more)


Wyldra have released their brand new single "ICE". The track is the second taste of the band's forthcoming debut album, "Come To Be," which is set to be released on September 26th.
