Armor For Sleep have returned with a video for their brand new single called, "How Far Apart", which is their first new song in 15 years and the first taste of their comeback album, "The Rain Museum."

Frontman Ben Jorgensen had this to say, "We are very excited to share our new album, 'The Rain Museum' with everyone. Back in 2020, at the start of the pandemic and at the start of our collective lockdown, I made it my mission to finish writing a concept album that I had the idea for for many years but was never able to bring to life. The Hu have released a video for their new single "Black Thunder," to celebrate the announcement that they will be releasing their sophomore album, "Rumble Of Thunder", on September 2nd.

Gala shared had this to say, "'Black Thunder'" is the crown jewel of our second album. The music video is split into two parts and conveys the core values of men through visuals. (read more)


Former Journey frontman Steve Augeri has released a new single called "Bated Breath", which is the second track from his forthcoming album "Seven Ways 'Til Sunday."

Steve had this to say about the song, "...we knew we were onto something very special because the goal for me was to have the lyrics match or surpass what I felt we had achieved musically. (read more)


Fallujah have shared a visualizer for their brand new single, "Embrace Oblivion," featuring Katie Thompson, which comes from forthcoming album, "Empyrean," that's out September 9th.

Frontman Kyle Schaefer had this to say, "'Embrace Oblivion' is about accepting change on a personal level, and trusting in your ability to adapt and grow from events that may seem destructive in the short-term. (read more)


Erra have shared a visualizer for their previously unreleased song "Pull From the Ghost." According to the announcement, "the lyrical concept delves into an interesting aspect of the human psyche and looks at almost the reverse of Stockholm Syndrome."

Jesse Cash had this to say, "The song is told from the perspective of a kidnapper hoping his captive will choose to stay willingly, but ultimately deciding to free them when that doesn't happen. (read more)


Atlanta rockers Left to Suffer have shared a visualizer for their track "Rest Your Head" to celebrate the release of their brand new EP, 'And Dying Forever'.

Vocalist Taylor Barber had this to say, "Is it the end when you die? Or is it a loop of consistent suffering? 'And Dying Forever' is a total continuation of last year's 'On Death' EP, both in the story and with the continued expansion of sounds we explore with. (read more)


Within Temptation have released a brand new single called "Don't Pray For Me." The song is the fourth single of the band's independent release series.

Boston Manor have released a video for their new single "Passenger" and have revealed that they will be releasing their fourth studio album, "Datura," will be released October 14th.

Guitarist Mike Cunniff had this to say, "It's really one of our favorite songs on the record. We've been jamming it in rehearsals a little bit and it just works so well live. It was a very stripped back approach to writing as well. (read more)


The 69 Eyes have shared their brand new single "Call Me Snake." The track will be included on special limited edition vinyl release that they will be releasing in September.

Vocalist Jyrki 69 had this to say, "It's 1997 in John Carpenter's Escape From New York sci-fi classic and Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken saves the world. These are the thematic elements for 'Call Me Snake' and the world will be saved again!" (read more)


Authority Zero have revealed their touring plans for the remainder of 2022. Things kick off with the band's long-delayed return to Europe and the UK, with dates kicking off July 14th in Hamburg, Germany.

Of the upcoming European tour, frontman Jason Devore says, "After a two plus year painstaking break, we are overwhelmingly ecstatic to get back across the pond to bring our latest record and show to the European fans and music lovers. We've been caged up a bit too long so we plan to play each show as if our first and last." (read more)


Tucson, AZ rockers Az The World Burnz have released a music video for their newest single, "Counterfeit Dreamer," which is the follow up to their Crazy Town collaboration, "End Of Suffering".

Jonathan had this to say, "'Counterfeit Dreamer' expresses being addicted to one's lover, and the trials and tribulations that go with relationships. how love compares to everyday struggles . Singer-songwriter/producer Killboy has shared a lyric video for her new single, "LOSER," which was produced by John Feldmann (Avril Lavigne, blink-182).

Ben Folds has announced a very special livestream event benefitting his new charitable initiative, "Keys For Kids," to be broadcast live from Raleigh, NC's Osceola Studios on Monday, July 11 at 6:00-7:00 pm (ET).

The event - which include a musical performance by Folds, as well as interviews with special guests including North Carolina First Lady Kristin Cooper - will support and raise awareness for "Keys For Kids," launched in a unique partnership with the North Carolina Arts Foundation and the North Carolina Arts Council to provide school-age young people in the state with access to keyboards and proper music lessons at little or no cost. Louisville, KY rockers Wyld Ryde have released a music video for their latest single, "Alone," which is a track from their most recent EP, "Gasoline Alley."

The video was shot by Mufaro Matose (CEO of Matose Visuals from Cincinnati, Ohio) in the band's hometown of Louisville, KY, and was filmed in several locations, from band members' homes to the tour bus, ending the night as footage of the band performing a local festival. (read more)


Grant Boyer of Golden Gate Graves fame recently released his new solo single, "Alarm Bells (Never Drinking Again)" and to celebrate we asked him to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

One time I woke up on the floor with a pounding headache. My landlord was knocking on the door, and I didn't have the rent. The rest is history. This song has pieces that are plucked from my actual past experiences, as well as pieces that just sounded funny, or just rhymed. (continue)


Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has released a new solo piano ballad called "Pointing At The Moon" along with a video that features a selection of his artwork.

Last month the iconic singer hinted that his retirement status may have changed. He was approached by Fox News at LAX and was asked if he planned to go back on tour any time soon. (read more)


A-Z, the new band formed by Fates Warning icons Ray Alder and Mark Zonder, have premiered a music video for their brand new single, "Trial By Fire".

The song is the second track that they group has revealed from their forthcoming self-titled album, which is set to be be released on August 12th by Metal Blade. (read more)


Dead Kennedys' classic 1980 album Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables has been remixed from the original multitrack tapes by Chris Lord-Alge (Chaka Khan, Green Day, Bruce Springsteen).

The band's debut album (original release date: September 2, 1980) is politically incendiary while also wholly musically adept - provocative and often idiosyncratic agit prop lyrics bouncing off of careening, adrenaline-infused musicianship. So it's only natural that the 40th anniversary re-release of this classic album is revisited by the GRAMMY winning mix engineer Chris Lord-Alge. Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables - 2022 Mix will be available September 30, 2022 via Manifesto Records. (read more)


King King have announced that critically acclaimed blues rock guitarist Danny Bryant will be their special guest at their upcoming UK live dates later this month.

The shows include Lytham Lower Pavilion on Thursday 28th July, Holmfirth Picturedrome on Friday 29th July, and Castleton Devil's Arse Cave on Saturday 30th July. (read more)


Travis Denning has released a brand new single called "Buy A Girl A Drink" to celebrate the announcement that he will be releasing a new six-song EP entitled, Might As Well Be Me", on August 5th.

Denning co-wrote the track with Jeremy Stover, Paul DiGiovanni and Chase McGill. He had this to say about the new EP, "Last year and my most recent EP were all about thankfulness, and being glad to have any live shows at all. (read more)


France based pop/rock trio Oakman have released a music video for their latest single, "Murder," which follows their previous tracks "Fantasy" and "Night."

The group had this to say about the new single and video, "This song pictures sexual harassment and abuse. It tells how it can affect a person's life and continue for the rest of their life and grow into pure hate. (read more)


Drug Church cover of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "Someday I Suppose" has been shared a preview for the forthcoming tribute project,
"Dead Formats Volume 1."

The 15-track compilation will be released on August 29th and will "featuring the Pure Noise Records roster sharing their takes on the celebrated punk/emo/ska songs that helped shape the scene in the 90's and 2000's," according to the announcement. (read more)


The Raelyn Nelson Band, fronted by Willie Nelson's granddaughter Raelyn Nelson, have shared a brand new single called, "Free", which was released as a single last week with plans to launch a video soon.

Raelyn had this to say, "I wrote this song right after my divorce. There I was stuck at home with 3 youngins, 2 dogs, 5 cats, 3 hamsters, 2 birds, and a fish; which I feel like everyone can relate to after the last two years we've all gone through." (read more)
