The Offspring took to social media to reveal that one of their tour vehicles caught fire last week while the band was traveling in Canada on their North American tour.

The band shared a video of the blaze and reported that there were no injuries. They said, "While traveling through Canada yesterday, something flew off the vehicle in front of us and became wedged underneath one of our SUVs and it caught fire. Everyone got out safely, but the luggage, passports, laptops and pretty much everything else was destroyed. (read more)


The Killers have released a lyric video for their brand new single, "boy", which is the first new music from the band since their 2021 album, "Pressure Machine".

"boy" was written by frontman Brandon Flowers and produced by the band and Stuart Price and Shawn Everett and received its live debut at the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid last month. (read more)


The Mars Volta have released a music video for their new single, "Vigil", to celebrate the announcement that they will be releasing their new self-titled album on September 16th.

According to the announcement, "the new album bravely challenges everything you thought you knew about them, delivering their most exciting, most accessible, and most sophisticated music yet." (read more)


The organizers of the Wacken Open Air music festival in Wacken, Germany have announced that metal legends Iron Maiden will be headlining next year's event that will be taking place from August 2nd through 5th.

Organizers had this to say, "A first glimpse of next year's billing was announced on the main stages during the night. W:O:A 2023 will take place Aug 2-5, making it the first time the festival officially boasts four days of live music. (read more)


A music video has been released for "The Retaliators Theme Song (21 Bullets)" that co-written by Nikki Sixx and James Michael of Sixx:A.M., a and features Motley Crue, Asking Alexandria, Ice Nine Kills, and From Ashes To New.

The track comes from "The Retaliators Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" which is due out September 16th, two days after the new horror-thriller film hits movie theaters. (read more)


Breland has released a brand new collaboration with Lady A called "Told You I Could Drink", which comes from his forthcoming debut album, "Cross Country".

Lady A's Charles Kelley, and Zachary Manno co-wrote the track with Breland. He had this to say, "Lady A is one of the groups that introduced me to Country music, so when I finally got in studio with Charles Kelley, I already had a Lady A collab in mind. (read more)


Amon Amarth celebrate the release of their new studio album, "The Great Heathen Army", by sharing a music video for the new track, "Find A Way Or Make One".

They had this to say about the new video, "We did this video with director Mikis Fontagnier in Frankfurt, Germany and with it we wanted to try something different. (read more)


German thrash metal veterans Tankard have released a music video for their new song "Ex-Fluencer". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "Pavlov's Dawgs," which will arrive on September 30th.

Frontman Andreas "Gerre" Geremia had this to say, "The content of the song is about the dark side of social media madness, in which the protagonist visibly loses herself and drifts into a completely surreal world, but fortunately finds her way out again in the end. (read more)


(hennemusic) Whitesnake have pulled out of an upcoming North American tour with the Scorpions while singer David Coverdale continues to deal with a health issue.

"It is with profound disappointment and a heavy heart," says Coverdale, "that I must announce that Whitesnake will no longer be able to join The Scorpions on their US and Canadian tour due to my continued treatment for a persistent upper respiratory infection that affects my ability to perform. This includes the cancellation of our own headlining shows as well. (read more)


Punk rock legends The Original Misfits have announced that they will be playing their only headline appearance of 2022 at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX, for Halloween Weekend on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

The band features the iconic lineup of original singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig and original bassist Jerry Only with Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein on guitar. (read more)


(hennemusic) Aerosmith are continuing their newly-launched 50th anniversary archival video series by sharing footage from a 1989 show that took place in Landover, MD.

The Boston rockers were captured at the city's Capital Centre during a December 17, 1989 US east coast stop on the Pump Tour. The set features classic tracks such as "Walk This Way" and "Rats In The Cellar," as well as "Rag Doll," "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)," and "Permanent Vacation." (read more)


(hennemusic) Creedence Clearwater Revival will release a pair of projects detailing their legendary 1970 show at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The April 14, 1970 performance at the famed London venue - which took place just four days after The Beatles announced their breakup - saw the California band deliver hit after hit from three studio albums issued in less than a year: "Bayou Country", "Green River" and "Willie And The Poor Boys", and their self-titled 1968 debut. Southern alt-rocker J.D. Huggins has premiered a music video for his new single "Life I Lead". The track comes from his debut album, "Head Full Of Monsters", which was released last month.

The video was directed by Alisa Daglio (Body Count, Yelawolf) in Ashland City, TN. J.D. had this to say, "I really wanted to do a music video with a story line and have family and friends play the roles. (read more)


Gears have released a music video for their brand new single, "Good Enough", which was produced by Chris Dawson and Jimmy Beattie, with Dawson also engineering.

Tripp Sixx had this to say about the song, "Will we ever feel as if we're good enough? Is there even such a thing? So many of us struggle with depression, myself included and it can get so dark within our minds that we can't seem to find a way out. All we can do is remember that despair, it's a feeling in our minds and that the sun will rise. (read more)


(hennemusic) Tesla are streaming audio of their new single, "Time To Rock!" The track - which the band have been playing on their current US tour - follows last summer's "Cold Blue Steel" as the latest music from the California outfit.

Tesla's most recent full studio album is 2019's "Shock", which marked the group's highest-charting US record in 25 years (since 1994's "Bust A Nut") which it reached No. 21 on the Billboard 200. (read more)


Metal veterans Trauma just released a new single called "Walk Away", from their forthcoming album, "Awakening" (due September 9th), and to celebrate they tell us a little bit about the song. Here is the story:

There are a lot of different elements to this song, musically with dynamics and tempo changes, lots of harmony guitars and blistering drums. It's a long song that has so many interesting parts - it never gets boring or repetitive. Lyrically this song explores the never-ending conflict in the Middle East. (continue)
