Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh have revealed an impressive lineup for this year's VetsAid, that will take place at 6pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

VetsAid 2022 will feature sets from a newly reunited James Gang (Joe Walsh, Jimmy Fox and Dale Peters) for a final performance, or "One Last Ride," with special guest Dave Grohl as well as from Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys and The Breeders. (read more)


The 35th anniversary of Def Leppard's blockbuster 1987 album, "Hysteria", is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

Blind Guardian have revealed a performance video for their new single, "Violent Shadows". The song comes from their forthcoming album, "The God Machine", which will arrive on September 2nd.

Krisiun have shared a lyric video for their latest single "War Blood Hammer" to celebrate the release of their new studio album, "Mortem Solis".

Prettymuch have returned with their first new song of the year. They delivers the new single, "Talking 2 You", late last week via Sire/Warner Records.

(hennemusic) Metallica met and jammed with actor Joseph Quinn from the Netflix series, "Stranger Things", prior to their headlining performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL on July 28.

The actor's character, Eddie Munson, shreds "Master Of Puppets" on his Warlock guitar in the show's "Upside Down" alternate universe during an attempt to help his friends vanquish a demon named Vecna. (read more)


Florida Georgia Line star Tyler Hubbard has announced that he will be releasing a new EP called "Dancin' In The Country" on August 19th and that his debut solo album will arrive on January 27th.

The new EP will include five new songs, along with Tyler's latest single "5 Foot 9" and his camp says that it is a "project of specially selected songs for the fans in advance of Hubbard's upcoming album and for his live shows this fall on Keith Urban's The Speed Of Now World Tour." (read more)


(hennemusic) Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi was among the artists that performed at the Opening Ceremony for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK on July 28, and fan-filmed video from the event has surfaced online.

Iommi and acclaimed saxophonist Soweto Kinch led a dream sequence entitled Hear My Voice, based on the title track from the 2020 film, "Trial of the Chicago Seven", as reimagined by Birmingham-born RnB vocalists Indigo Marshall and Gambimi. (read more)

Organizers have announced that the David Bowie World Fan Convention will be coming to the U.S. in 2023, following the debut event that took place in Liverpool, England last month.

The David Bowie World Fan Convention 2023 will be taking place at Terminal 5 in New York City on June 17th and 18th, 2023 and coincide with both the 40th Anniversary of the release of Bowie's transformative album, Let's Dance and half a century since the release of the equally iconic, Aladdin Sane. Organisers are planning for both albums to get star treatment over the course of the weekend. (read more)


The Offspring's Todd Morse released a brand new solo single called "Everything Fun (Is Bad For Me)"" to celebrating inking a new deal with Manic Kat Records.

We were sent these details: Having released his debut solo album in 2019, Todd has reignited his solo work this year, with latest single. Speaking on the track, Morse adds: "After years of partying, "Everything Fun (Is Bad For Me)" is about figuring out how to still have a great time, without doing things that you know are bad for your health and mindset." Kenny Wayne Shepherd has announced the inaugural run of his Backroads Blues Festival Tour for which he serves as both curator and featured performer.

The six-date trek will also feature blues legend Buddy Guy, along with young blues sensation, and recent Grammy winner Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. (read more)


Dirty Heads have released a music video for their new track "Heavy Water", which features a guest appearance from the band Common Kings and comes from their upcoming album, "Midnight Control" (Out August 26th).

Frontman Jared Watson had this to say about the new track, "'Heavy Water' is a song about empowerment. Being in the water constantly from a young age, we know the power of the ocean - there is nothing more powerful or uncontrollable. (read more)


As promised, Chase Rice has released the full studio version of this song "Key West & Colorado", which comes from his as yet announced next studio album.

"When we wrote 'Key West & Colorado' in Grayton Beach we weren't necessarily planning on writing a song that day," recalls Rice of the song's origin. (read more)


The Hollywood Allstars recently released the title track to their forthcoming EP, "Field Of Grace", and to celebrate we asked band leader Steve Gaspár to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

When I first got the idea to form The Hollywood Allstars, my vision for it was to be a "Supergroup", my Dream Team of musicians. Made up of Artists I respected and felt a strong musical connection to. However I never would have imagined that the band would eventually include the Horn Section from The Rolling Stones Steel Wheels Tour, the Lead Singer from The Tower of Power, the Bass Player from The Johnny and Edgar Winter Groups, the drummer from The Original Blues Brothers Band, not the mention a guitarist who'd shared the stage with Blood Sweat & Tears and The Talking Heads, and percussionist from The Vickie Sue Robinson Band.
