Shinedown have announced that they will be launching an additional headline tour next spring entitled The Revolution's Live Tour, which will feature support from The Pretty Reckless and Diamante.

The trek is scheduled to kick off on April 1st in Spokane, WA at the Spokane Arena and will be wrapping up on May 7th in Knoxville, TN at the Thompson-Boling Arena. (read more)


Smith/Kotzen, the group featuring Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith and The Winery Dogs frontman Richie Kotzen, have announced that they will be launcing their very first US tour early next year.

They are launching the trek in support of their self-titled debut album, which was released back in March. The tour is set to kick off on January 15th at the Ventura Theatre in Ventura, CA. (read more)


As I Lay Dying have released a new live video for their track "My Own Grave" to celebrate the release of the deluxe edition of their "Shaped By Fire" album.

The new Deluxe Version features live and instrumental versions as well as re-interpretations of the original tracks. Phil Sgrosso had this to say,
"The initial idea was to create a deluxe version stemmed from leftover material written for the Shaped By Fire album. Some of it was re-purposed for b-sides and several tracks were used for the live show exclusively, until now. (read more)


Flogging Molly have announced that they will be returning to the road next spring for a U.S. tour that will include their annual St. Patrick's Day (March 17) performance in Los Angeles.

The tour will feature support from Russkaja and Vandoliers and is set to kick off on March 8th in Knoxville, TN at The Mill & Mine and will wrap up on March 26th in Ventura, CA at the Ventura Music Hall. (read more)


(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing pro-shot video of a performance of their 1991 classic, "Nothing Else Matters", from a November 6 show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA as part of the ATLive concert series.

The band were joined by Cage The Elephant and Greta Van Fleet for the second show of the weekend event, which opened a night earlier with a performance by country legend George Strait. (read more)


(hennemusic) John Mellencamp will release his new album, "Strictly A One-Eyed Jack", on January 21. The singer has issued a lyric video for the set's latest preview, "Chasing Rainbows."

The project delivers a dozen new songs from the Indiana rocker - including three with Bruce Springsteen, with whom he shared the set's lead single, "Wasted Days", back in September. (read more)


Vampires Everywhere have announced that they will be hitting the road early next year when they launch their headlining that they will be calling From Hell With Love Tour.

The trek will feature support from Young Medicine, City Of The Weak, and Junexa and it is set to kick off on February 4th in Las Vegas at the Rockstar Bar and will wrap up on February 27th in Los Angeles at Catch One. (read more)


Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, The Strokes have been tapped to headline the 10th anniversary installment of Lollapalooza Chile that will be taking place next March.

The festival will also feature performances from Doja Cat, A$AP Rocky, Martin Garrix, Jane's Addiction, Alesso, Machine Gun Kelly, Alan Walker, Jack Harlow, Kaytranada, Phoebe Bridgers, Turnstile, Idles and many more. (read more)


Papa Roach have announced the first leg of their North American "Kill The Noise Tour" next spring that will feature special guests Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves.

The first group's headline tour in three years is set to kick off on March 1st at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA and will wrap up on March 30th in Corpus Christi, TX at the Concrete Street Amphitheater. (read more)

Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar had a top 21 story from April 2021 after he shared that the publisher of his book "Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock" wants him to record an audiobook version, but he fears that he would change things if he started reading it.

Sammy released the book in 2011 and during a new interview with Rock This With Allison Hagendorf on Spotify he was asked if there was anything that he wishes that he had included in the book. (read more)


Iron Maiden Not Metallica Created Thrash Says Anthrax Star was a top 21 story from April 2021: Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth are considered the Big 4 of Thrash Metal, but Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante believes that it was NWOBHM legends Iron Maiden who created Thrash.

Benante made the comments during a new interview with The Metal Voice to discuss Anthrax's forthcoming covers album "Silver Linings", where the band also recruited some big name musicians to take on the classic songs. (read more)

Former Motley Crue frontman John Corabi earned a top 21 story from April 2021 after confirmed in an interview that there are two songs that he cowrote with the band that have not been released.

Corabi replaced Vince Neil as the lead vocalist in the band in 1992 and they release one album together, 1994's self-titled record, before the group decided to reunite with Neil. (read more)


Legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne scored a top 21 story from April 2021 after he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame on April 6th.

The WWE have shared the brief video message that Ozzy sent to them to accept the honor during the event that was taped where he was a surprise induction during the combined 2020/2021 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony. (read more)


Illumination Road earned a top 21 story from April 2021 when they released a music video for their song "The Modern World", which was coproduced Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver icon Matt Sorum and the video was filmed at Escape Studios in Pioneertown, CA.

Chad Shlosser explained the background of the track in an interview. He said, "'The Modern World' has been through a few production steps before we landed here. Chris [Ayden] and I had taken it from a very progressive rock type of track and attempted to simplify things and focus on the vocals. (read more)


Americana singer/songwriter David Starr marked the one year anniversary of the death of music legend John Prine with the release of a cover of "Angel From Montgomery," which earned him a top 21 story from April 2021

Starr had this to say, "John's writing has inspired me and countless others over the years to be better at our craft. So, when I decided to record my Touchstones album of cover songs in 2020, 'Angel From Montgomery' was always on the short list of songs for the record. (read more)
