KISS cofounder Gene Simmons spoke with the Las Vegas Review-Journal about the band's recently canceled Las Vegas residency shows and shared that they may reschedule them.

Gene was asked about the canceled shows and responded,"Our original plan was to come in just before New Year's, but it was just too busy. (read more)


Korn have announced that they will be launching a U.S. arena tour next spring to promote their forthcoming album, "Requiem", that will also feature their special guests Chevelle and Code Orange.

The 19-date tour is set to kick off on March 4th in Springfield, MO at the JQH Arena and will be concluding on April 1st in Wichita, KS at the INTRUST Bank Arena. (read more)


(hennemusic) Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are sharing video of a performance on the NPR Tiny Desk Concert series in support of their new album, "Raise The Roof."

For a "home" edition of the long-running program, the pair were joined by an all-star cast of musicians at Sound Emporium studios in Nashville, TN - where they recorded the project in 2019 - to deliver a three-song set of tracks from the project. (read more)


Primus have announced a brand new leg of their 'A Tribute To Kings' Tour, where they tribute prog legends Rush by performing the band's iconic 1977 album "A Farewell To Kings" in full, and a set of their own songs.

The 46-date tour is set to launch on April 15th in Oklahoma City, OK at The Criterion and will be wrapping up on June 25th in Las Vegas, NV at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. (read more)

The Sun reports Wood has confirmed that he had a variant of the disease after previously facing a battle with lung cancer. "I've had cancer two different ways now," explains Wood. "I had lung cancer in 2017 and I had small-cell more recently that I fought in the last lockdown." (read more)

Trivium frontman Matt Heafy scored a top 21 story from April 2021 when he revealed in an interview that he teamed up with Richard Marx to give the pop star's 1989 hit "Right Here Waiting" a metal makeover.

(hennemusic) The sad news that former Judas Priest drummer John Hinch died at the age of 73 was a top 21 story from April 2021: Rob Halford confirmed the news via his Instagram Stories account, where he shared a photo of Hinch along with the caption "RIP" and a series of emojis, including the "devil's horns" and a snare drum.

Hinch and Halford had been bandmates in Hiroshima before the pair joined Judas Priest in 1973 and appeared on the group's 1974 album debut, "Rocka Rolla." (read more)


L.A. Guns Settle Dispute Over Band Name was a top 21 story from April 2021: There is now one official version of L.A. Guns and a renamed 'Riley's L.A. Guns, after a settlement was reached between the two groups over the rights to the name.

Attorneys for the bands put out the following statement on Friday (April 23rd), "Plaintiffs Tracii Guns and Philip Lewis and Defendants Stephen Riley, et al. have agreed to settle the trademark litigation currently pending in the U.S. District Court in the Central District of California.
