New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert shared the news with fans via social media that he is recovering after undergoing surgery to have a tumor removed from his adrenal glands.

Chad shared a photo of himself in his hospital bed and a long message to fans via Instagram on Monday (December 20th). He wrote, "For the last 14 days I've been living in the hospital having cancer removed." (read more)


Fans will have another chance to watch Metallica's 40th anniversary concerts this Christmas weekend, with special rebroadcasts online via The Coda Collection (U.S.) and Amazon Prime (Internationally).

The iconic band took the stage at the Chase Center in their adopted hometown of San Francisco last week to perform two special sets to celebrate their 40th anniversary, and both shows were livestreamed via Amazon Prime. (read more)

Late Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland had a top 21 story from June 2021 when it was learned that a film about his life of called "Paper Heart" is under development by Dark Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Weiland died at the age of 48 in 2015 and Dark Pictures and Orian Williams have acquired the book rights to Weiland's memoir "Not Dead & Not for Sale," (which was written by the vocalist with David Ritz), according to the report. (read more)


Sammy Hagar shared that he would change what he wrote about his former bandmate Eddie Van Halen if he were to have written his autobiography today, earning him a top 21 story from June 2021.
