Karine Hannah has shared her reimagined version of the classic Van Halen hit "Jump", which she recrafted as a ballad and is the lead single from her upcoming "Inspired" album project.

She had this to say in posts via her Facebook about the cover and the album, "It's never too late to pay tribute to one the greats in rock & roll. My first single release off of my album project #inspired is this song jump from #vanhalen." (read more)


(hennemusic) Nirvana have filed their legal response to a lawsuit that claims the band violated child pornography laws with the cover of their 1991 album, "Nevermind," asking that the case be dismissed.

30-year-old Spencer Elden originally took legal action this summer over allegations of child sexual exploitation based on the nude image of him as a four-month-old in a swimming pool featured on the project. (read more)


Music fans will be able to rock in 2022 with a jam-packed lineup of concert specials on AXS TV this New Year's weekend including the network premiere of performances from rock legends KISS and Def Leppard leading the way.

The network will be kicking things off on New Year's Eve with the premiere of KISS Rocks Vegas at 8 p.m. ET, featuring a performance from The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel. (read more)

The group took to Facebook on July 23rd and shared the following, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Gary Rossington as he recovers from emergency heart surgery. The 1981 set was made up of studio outtakes recorded during the 1970s, with some songs requiring additional work prior to release. "Me and Mick have done nine new tracks for the [40th anniversary] re-release of Tattoo You," shared band guitarist Wood in an interview with The Times. (read more)


Exodus drummer Tom Hunting had a top 21 story from July 2021 after he was declared "cancer free" following his total gastrectomy surgery to treat his squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the stomach, according to his bandmate Gary Holt.

The guitarist shared the following update via social media on July 26th, "Update of Tom! Tom has been home for around a week now, is doing very well despite the pain, is eating real food but also adjusting to a new relationship with food and a new way of having to eat. But he's a rock in all this, strong as hell and he's gonna crush this. And he is CANCER FREE. They got it all. F*** yes! (read more)


Jason Aldean had a top 21 story from July 2021released the duet with Carrie Underwood called "If I Didn't Love You". The track would go on to top the county music chart in November.

The song was produced by Jason's longtime friend and collaborator Michael Knox, and was written by his bandmates Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy alongside John Morgan and Lydia Vaughan. (read more)
