(hennemusic) Rush will release a series of expanded reissues of their 1981 classic, "Moving Pictures", on April 15th. The 2022 editions will be available to fans in six distinct configurations, including the (1) Super Deluxe Edition, (2) three-CD Deluxe Edition, (3) five-LP Deluxe Edition, (4) one-LP Edition, (5), Digital Deluxe Edition, and (6) Dolby Atmos Digital Edition. Pre-order at Amazon (once available -ad).

Recorded with producer Terry Brown at Le Studio in Morin-Heights, Quebec, the Canadian band's eighth studio album expertly blended Rush's progressive roots into radio-friendly arrangements, as evidenced by the set's lead single, "Tom Sawyer." (read more)


(hennemusic) Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators delivered a livestream performance of their new album, "4", in sync with its release on February 11th.

The "Live At Studios 60" event saw Slash, Kennedy, drummer Brent Fitz, bassist Todd Kerns and guitarist Frank Sidoris run through all 10 songs on the project, which was recorded at the historic RCA Studio A to Nashville, TN with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile). (hennemusic) Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder is streaming his brand new solo album, "Earthling", in sync with its release on February 11. "Earthling" is now available in multiple formats, including LP, cassette, digital, CD and Deluxe CD editions.

Introduced with the lead single, "Long Way", the Pearl Jam frontman recorded the set with producer/guitarist Andrew Watt and it features guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Ringo Starr. (read more)


(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing pro-shot video of a performance of their 2003 rarity, "Dirty Window", from the second of two sold-out 40th anniversary concerts in San Francisco, CA last December.

The tune from the "St. Anger" album saw its first live appearance since 2011 during a set that was almost half-filled with songs that the group haven't played in at least 8 years. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Scorpions are streaming audio of their brand new single, "Seventh Sun," as the latest preview to their forthcoming studio album "Rock Believer."

The song follows "Peacemaker" and the title track as the third tune issued in advance of the February 25 release of the German band's 19th studio album. (read more)


(hennemusic) Judas Priest are streaming pro-shot video of a performance of their 1980 classic, "Breaking The Law", featuring Glenn Tipton at the 2021 edition of the UK's Bloodstock Open Air festival last summer.

The opening track from the UK outfit's "British Steel" album was one of three encore songs in a headlining set that saw Tipton join his bandmates on stage; the guitarist has appeared at random concerts in the years following his 2018 decision to retire from touring while he deals with the effects of Parkinson's Disease. (hennemusic) Queen revisit their first full concert performance with Adam Lambert on the latest episode of the band's 50th anniversary video series The Greatest.

Brian May and Roger Taylor first crossed paths with Lambert when they joined him on the season 8 finale of American Idol; the pairing regrouped again to perform at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards and prepared to launch a European tour under the Queen + Adam Lambert banner the following year. Sydney-based rockers FANGZ pay homage to blink-182 classic "What's My Age Again?" with the music video for their brand new single "Falling Is Pretty Normal".

The song is the title track to the band's forthcoming EP, which was produced by Stevie Knight (Yours Truly, Stand Atlantic, The Dead Love) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath). (read more)


Alt rockers Jordan Red have shared a trailer for the lyric video for their forthcoming single "Spilling My Blood," which is set to be released on February 25th.

The band's sixth single was mixed, mastered and produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Holding Absence) and features artwork by renowned photographer and digital artist, Nathersonn (Five Finger Death Punch, Tommy Vext, Black Stone Cherry). (read more)


Wait (We Are In Transit) just released their new album "The End Of Noise" and to celebrate we asked Charlie Eron to tell us about the album's title track. Here is the story:

"Lone Presence Supreme", the 2nd track on our record "The End of Noise" is the prototype of the WAIT sound and the impetus for the creation of the group. I wrote the earliest version of this song in 2013 while I was an undergrad. Max Phelps and I were in a few of the same classes, and I was friendly with him and the other guys from Exist (Max and Alex Weber). I made it my goal to collaborate with him and Alex; Exist is one of my favorite bands, and Max is just a monster - he has this superhuman ability when it comes to songwriting. (continue)
