The Foo Fighters have announced that they have expanded their upcoming North American tour plans with the addition of 10 more shows that expand the trek into early fall.

The new dates begin on September 18th in Sioux Falls, SD at the Denny Sanford Premier Center and wrap up on October 7th in Bend, OR at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. (read more)


Jason Aldean has announced that he will be hitting the road this summer with his Rock N' Roll Cowboy Tour in support of his two-part album "Macon, Georgia."

The trek will feature support from Gabby Barrett, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver and is set to kick off on July 15th in Scranton, PA at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain and wrap up on October 29th in Wichita, KS at the INTRUST Bank Arena. (read more)


(hennemusic) Sammy Hagar performed the live debut of a brand new song during the latest series of shows in his Sammy Hagar and Friends Las Vegas residency series.

The Red Rocker teased the song, "You Get What You Pay For", with footage of he and the members of The Circle running through the tune backstage, wiring on social media: "From the dressing room rehearsal to the stage last night. #newsong #yougetwhatyoupayfor ... I don't always play a Stratocaster (first time on stage in 25 years!), but when I do, I play my red one." (read more)


(hennemusic) A cover of the 1980 Judas Priest classic, "Breaking The Law", was featured in a Super Bowl LVI commercial for Liquid Death, a water company that packages its product in a can instead of plastic bottles.

"We're just a funny water company who hates corporate marketing as much as you do," says the brand. "Our evil mission is to make people laugh and get more of them to drink more water more often, all while helping to kill plastic pollution." (read more)


Soul Coughing's Mike Doughty and Sebastian Steinberg performed together for the first time in 22 years last weekend and video of the reunion jam has been shared online.

A reunion that never seemed possible, Steinberg was performing at Largo in Los Angeles on Saturday night, February 5, as part of the Watkins Family Hour and brought up Doughty unexpectedly and unannounced to perform Soul Coughing songs "Super Bon Bon" and "True Dreams of Wichita." (read more)


Earshot have released two brand new singles, a track called "You + I" and a special acoustic take on the song "Tongue Tied" that appeared on their sophomore album, "TWO".

Wil Martin had this to say, "When I first heard the guitars in the verse for 'You + I', it instantly conjured up thoughts and feelings that reminded me of the emotional rush and mental obsession that typically happens between 2 people in the beginning of a new relationship, and I just went with it. The Aristocrats, (guitarist Guthrie Govan, bassist Bryan Beller and drummer Marco Minnemann) have announced that they will be launching their North American Defrost Tour this summer.

The trek will be kicking off with two nights at the Alvas Showroom in San Pedro, Ca on July 1st and 2nd and will conclude on September 9the at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA. (read more)


Eric Church, Tim McGraw and Morgan Wallen will lead the lineup for this year's installment of the Faster Horses Festival, which will be taking place in Brooklyn, MI on July 22-24.

The main-stage lineup will also include Lauren Alaina, Brothers Osborne, Jordan Davis, Larry Fleet, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, Jake Owen, Caitlyn Smith, Cole Swindell, Michael Ray, Jameson Rodgers, Runaway June, Morgan Wade and DeeJay Silver. (read more)


Ours have announced that they will be launching a U.S. Tour next in support of their self-titled album and will also feature select shows celebrating their acclaimed debut album.

Cimarron 615, the newly formed Americana band that features members of Poco and Flying Burrito Brothers, have released a brand new single called “Rough Edges.”

The song comes from their forthcoming album, "My Friend: A Tribute to Rusty Young", which will be released this summer and pays homage to the late Poco frontman. (read more)


Rex Orange County has released a music video for his brand new single "Amazing". The track is second song from his forthcoming album, "Who Cares?", which is set to hit stores on March 11th.

According to the announcement, "Layered with orchestral strings, 'Amazing' is an ode to falling in love that arrives with visuals directed by Chris Ullens, who previously directed the video for Rex's hit song 'Loving Is Easy.'" (read more)


Visions Of Atlantis are eager to make their return to North America! Earlier this year, the band was tapped by power metal icons DragonForce to join their upcoming Spring North American tour.

Rounding out the lineup is direct support from Firewind, along with Seven Spires opening on the bill. The tour kicks off on March 7th in Santa Ana, CA, and will land in over 30 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada before concluding in Berkeley, CA on April 23rd. (read more)


Eli Young Band celebrated Valentine's Day by sharing their brand new single, "Love Talking", with radio. The track was written by Mike Eli, Jeffrey East and Eric Arjes, who also produced alongside Jimmy Robbins.

The Divine Horsemen and The Flesh Eaters' Julie Christensen has shared a video performance of Kevin Gordon's "Heart's Not In It", which comes from her recently released "11 From Kevin - Songs of Kevin Gordon."

Played as a medley with "Down To The Well", the video was captured at Ireland's 32 Bar in Van Nuys, Calif and includes road footage shot by Magnus Diehl, edited by Julie Christensen. (read more)


Wishbone Ash will be launching their U.S. tour next week and the trek will include select shows where the band will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their "Argus" album.

Sandy Haley just released her new album "Feels Like Freedom" and as a special treat, she tells us about three songs from the new record, "Dirty Dog," "Never Sleep Your Way to the Middle," and "Run For Shelter". Here are the stories:

Dirty Dog is the first song I wrote for the CD and when we play it live, this is the crowd favorite. People sing along on the chorus which I love. It was interesting how the lyrics, melody and chords all came to me at once. It was very fluid, I just got a pen out and started writing at my piano. I literally had this song wrapped up in a hour or so! Sometimes, it's like that. I guess it's the pent-up emotions that make it comes out fast, furious and sometime humorous ha! (continue)
