Riot Fest will be continuing the tradition of band performing full albums during their appearance at the festival and this year The Original Misfits, Yellowcard, The Menzingers, Rocket from the Crypt, The Get Up Kids, and Fear will be playing notable albums during their sets.

This year's Riot Fest will be taking place on September 16th, 17th and 18th at Douglass Park in Chicago. We were sent the following details about the full album sets (read more)


Alexisonfire have shared a streaming video for their new single "Sans Soleil". That track comes from the band's forthcoming studio album, "Otherness".

The new album, the band's first new record in over 13 years, will be released on June 24th. It was self-produced by the band and mixed by Jonah Falco (F***ed Up, Chubby and the Gang). (read more)


Switchfoot have shared a visualizer video for their just release B-side, "interrobang". The song is the title track to band's 2021 album, but was not included on the record.

Jon Foreman had this to say about the song, "Interrobang is a song that lives up to its title, raising up more questions than answers. Rather than fighting against the chaos, interrobang embraces the unknown. The uncomfortable. The dissonance. The tension. Abandoning the illusion of control." (read more)


Drag Me Out, featuring former Me Famous and Asking Alexandria frontman, Denis Stoff, have released a music video for their brand new single "Crystal Arms".

The song comes from the band's forthcoming album, "Demons Away", which is now set to be released on August 26th after being delayed by the war in Stoff's home country of Ukraine. (read more)


Municipal Waste have shared a lyric video for their brand new single "High Speed Steel". That track comes from their forthcoming album, "Electrified Brain", which will be hitting stores on July 1st.

Guitarist Ryan Waste had the following to say about the new song, "High Speed Steel is our ode to an era when heavy metal was transitioning into a faster form. (read more)


Minneapolis-based hard rockers Cold Kingdom have shared a black-and-white live performance-style music video for their brand new single "Agony".

The song is the second track that they have revealed from their forthcoming as-yet-untitled album that they will be releasing at some point this summer. (read more)


Upon A Burning Body have released a music video for their new single "Code Of Honor." The song comes from the band's new studio album, "Fury".

Guitarist Ruben Alvarez had this to say about the new effort, "After listening to the complete album we knew we had created something that represents what the band stands for on and off stage. (read more)


Elle King and Dierks Bentley have debuted the official music video for their latest collaboration, "Worth A Shot". We were sent the following details:

The concept was created and written by King, who collaborated with directors Stephen Kinigopoulos and Alexa Stone (Running Bear Films). Filmed Murfreesboro, TN, the video flashes back to the Wild West in the late 1800s where King and Bentley star as husband-and-wife characters. (read more)


Larkin Poe have premiered a music video for their brand new single "Bad Spell". The song is the first taste from the duo's forthcoming album, "Blood Harmony", which will arrive on November 11th.

Rebecca Lovell had this to say about the new song, "Ever since I heard 'I Put a Spell on You' by Screamin' Jay Hawkins for the first time I've wanted to write a female response to it. (read more)


New Jersey hard rockers Huxley have released a music video for their latest single, "Flesh and Bone." The video was directed and edited by Tom Flynn.

Johnny Kelly and Dan Lorenzo have teamed up for a new project called Patriarchs In Black and they will be releasing their debut album, "Reach For The Scars", on July 1st.

They have released their first single "Demons Of Regret" via Bandcamp. Adrenaline sent over these details about the project: Brooklyn native Johnny Kelly and NJ guitarist Dan Lorenzo have both played in more than a handful of bands. (read more)


Frank Turner has announced the livestream of his Sunday, June 19 show in Philadelphia, PA at The Fillmore on his forthcoming "50 States In 50 Days" tour.

Partnering with premium concert streaming platform Veeps, The 51st State Live Online is an addition to Turner's upcoming ambitious journey through the U.S. that will hit each and every state. (read more)


Tash Sultana will return to North America for a headlining tour that kicks off June 10 in Las Vegas at The Chelsea that will coincide with the June 3 release of the album "MTV Unplugged, Live In Melbourne".

Marking their first concerts here in three years, the run includes sold-out shows at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Sandy, UT (Sandy Amphitheater), New York City (The Rooftop at Pier 17), Portland, ME (State Theatre), Boston, MA (House of Blues), Victoria BC (Royal Theatre BC), Forest Grove, OR (McMenamins Grand Lodge), Seattle (Paramount Theatre), Oakland (Fox Theater) and Los Angeles (Hollywood Palladium). Society 1 recently released a video for their new single "As I Die" and to celebrate we asked frontman Matt Zane to tell us about the track, which comes from their new album, "Black Level Six," and co-written by Zane and late bassist DV Karloff. Here is the story:

"As I Die" was actually a left over song from the "Black Level Six" sessions. When we originally recorded the track DV "Dirt" Karloff (former bassist) really wasn't that into it. It was decided to be left off the album at the time. (continue)


(hennemusic) Pearl Jam have cancelled two concerts on their current North American tour this week after bassist Jeff Ament tested positive for COVID-19.

The shows affected – which include a May 18 event at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA and a May 20 appearance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV – are the final two nights of the spring 2022 leg of the series. (read more)


(hennemusic) David Coverdale is revisiting the Whitesnake classic, “Here I Go Again”, as part of the band’s newly-available remixed and remastered version of their 1994 “Greatest Hits” collection.

Originally recorded for the group's 1982 album, "Saints & Sinners", Coverdale reveals it wasn’t his idea to redo the song for their self-titled 1987 release. (read more)


(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing pro-shot video of a performance of their version of the traditional Irish song, “Whiskey In The Jar”, from a May 7 concert at Estádio Couto Pereira in Curitiba, Brazil.

The band originally featured the tune on 1998’s “Garage Inc.” set after being inspired to record a cover based on Thin Lizzy’s 1972 version. The Curitiba event was the second of four shows in Brazil as part of Metallica’s South American tour; the six-concert series wrapped up in Belo Horizonte on May 12. (read more)


(hennemusic) David Bowie’s social media team are streaming a new lyric video for “Starman”, to mark the 50th anniversary of its release as the lead single from his 1972 album classic, “The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars.”

Issued in the UK on April 28, 1972 and in the US three weeks later on May 20, “Starman” followed 1969’s “Space Oddity” as Bowie’s second UK Top 10 hit and the first preview of his fifth studio record and new alter ago, Ziggy Stardust. (read more)
