Tommy Emmanuel and Mike Dawes have shared their rendition of the Nirvana classic "Smells Like Teen Spirit", from their forthcoming EP "Accomplice Series Vol. 3 (out September 23rd).

"I've always loved Nirvana's original recording and music video of this song, but I never dreamed I'd play it as an instrumental one day," said Emmanuel. "Having Mike on tour with me gave me a window into other possibilities as a player, performer, and arranger. (read more)


ZZ Top have shared their brand new single "Heard It On The X," which comes from their forthcoming album, "RAW", that is set to be released on July 22nd.

We were sent the following details: Like the other 11 selections on RAW, it was recorded at Gruene Hall, the notorious honky tonk in Texas. The classic setting, dating back to 1878, was chosen for an unfettered, roots-oriented session that is chronicled in the Grammy-nominated documentary ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band from Texas. Directed by Sam Dunn and released by Banger Films, the feature offers insight into the history of the band's classic line-up: Billy F Gibbons, Frank Beard and Dusty Hill. (read more)


Brantley Gilbert and Jelly Roll have teamed up for the first time on a brand new track called "Son Of The Dirty South", which they cowrote with Andrew Baylis.

Gilbert had this to say, "I had a blast working on this one with Jelly. We've been itching to write together for a while now, and we had a lot of fun putting it together. You don't always get to record a song with your co-writers, so to hop in the studio with him too was a real treat." (read more)


Canadian singer-songwriter Tia McGraff recently returned with her first new single in 3 years, "Go Your Own Way", and to celebrate, we asked her to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

My husband, Tommy Parham, and I were flying to California for a long awaited and anticipated co-writing session with the amazing Kevin Fisher. Upon landing at the airport, we received word that Tommy's mom had succumbed to her four-year battle with cancer. (continue)


Ozzy Osbourne has released a Todd McFarlane directed music video for the title track to his forthcoming album, "Patient Number 9", which features a guest appearance from guitar legend Jeff Beck.

The new studio album saw Ozzy once again teaming up with producer Andrew Watt, who worked with the metal icon on his acclaimed 2020 record, "Ordinary Man". (read more)


Imagine Dragons have released a music video for their brand new single "Sharks". The song comes from the band's forthcoming double album, "Mercury - ACTS 1 & 2", which will arrive on July 1st.

According to the announcement, "the video is set against the iconic backdrop of the Las Vegas strip and follows Imagine Dragons on the heist of their lives across iconic Las Vegas locations including Bellagio, Allegiant Stadium, Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, 'O' by Cirque Du Soleil and more." Country star Warren Zeiders has teamed up with Blink-182's Travis Barker for a brand new version of his RIAA Gold-certified hit "Ride The Lightning."

Alexisonfire are celebrating the release of their first new studio album in 13 years, "Otherness," by sharing a music video for the song "Sans Soleil".

The "Sans Soleil" music video was shot in New Orleans and was directed by the band's longtime collaborator Michael Maxxis, who also directed the videos for "The Northern" and "Familiar Drugs." (read more)
