Clutch have announced that they will be releasing their brand new studio album, which will be entitled "Sunrise On Slaughter Beach," on September 16th, 2022.

The new album was recorded at The Magpie Cage Recording Studio, Baltimore, MD, the album was produced and mixed by Grammy nominated Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood, Pixies) with additional engineering by J Robbins (Jawbreaker, Against Me!, The Sword). (read more)


Kyuss icon Brant Bjork has shared his brand new single, "Trip On The Wire," to announced the release of his fourteenth studio album, "Bougainvillea Suite," this October 28th.

He had this to say about the album, "This is a bittersweet record for me. So much change in my life. Some stuff more positive than others. But it's always a blessing to be able to make a record and get the music out to the fans. This is the last record to be recorded in my Joshua Tree studio. I'm saying goodbye to an era and looking down the road toward new beginnings." (read more)


Taking Back Sunday, Coolio, Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg, Zola Jesus, Reece Young, Polica and cumgirl8 have been added to the lineup for this year's Riot Fest, which is taking place September 16-18 at Douglass Park in Chicago, IL.

We were sent these details: Now in its 17th year, the festival features headlining acts My Chemical Romance on Friday, The Original Misfits on Saturday, and Nine Inch Nails on Sunday. Notable first-timers for Riot Fest 2022 include beloved indie rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs; the pivotal goth rock group Bauhaus; a reunited Sunny Day Real Estate; as well as first-time sets from Portugal. DevilDriver have announced their new band lineup, which includes the return of their original bass player Jon Miller, and the addition of guitarist Alex Lee (Holy Grail), who is replacing Neal Tiemann.

Miller had this to say, "After spending the past 10 years away from writing music, recording, and touring, I have made the decision to return to Devildriver to settle some unfinished business with two lifelong friends." (read more)


Lamb of God drummer Art Cruz has announced that he will fill the drum seat with the 8G Band July 25 to 28 on Late Night with Seth Meyers on the NBC Network.

Journey have debuted at No. 1 on the Current Rock Chart with their brand new studio album, "Freedom", which the legendary band released on July 8th.

Sam Hunt has released the official music video of his brand new single, "Water Under the Bridge". The new video was directed by Mason W. Dixon.

"Water Under the Bridge," written by Hunt with Chris LaCorte, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne, and follows Hunt's recent No. 1 smash hit "23," also written by Hunt with the trio of LaCorte, McAnally, and Osborne. Nashville glam-rock trio Royal Sugar just released their new single "California Nightmare" and to celebrate we asked them to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

The inspiration behind this song was exploring the romanticization of a past chaotic fling. One that you keep coming back to no matter how much foreseeable pain it may leave in its wake. In this case, one that you still have trouble distinguishing the good from the bad, the healthy from the unhealthy. It was just a short-lived whirlwind of confusion & passion. "California Nightmare" is about going back to that mirage again and again- trying to determine if any of it was even real. (continue)


Ozzy Osbourne's classic 1991 hit ballad "Mama, I'm Coming Home," has been given a country music makeover by Carrie Underwood for her brand new Apple Music Sessions Live EP.

The Acacia Strain have announced that they will be hitting the road for a short U.S. tour this September that they have dubbed the You Can't Skip Lunch Tour.
