(hennemusic) Sammy Hagar and The Circle have released a video for their cover of the Elvis Costello & The Attractions tune, "Pump It Up."

Originally featured on Costello's 1978 album, "This Year's Model", the Hagar version featured on the forthcoming "Crazy Times" set was recorded live during a warm-up session on the encouragement of the album's producer Dave Cobb, who also plays rhythm guitar on the track. (read more)


Having recently celebrated the first anniversary of his ambitiously groundbreaking Heart & Soultriple album release, Eric Church fans everywhere can now enjoy the middle installment of the project, with the & album previously available only to the Church Choir now offered publicly via standard CD, black vinyl and digital platforms.

Like chart-topping bookends Heart and Soul, & is the result of the famed marathon session Church spent sequestered in rural North Carolina, writing and recording a song from start to finish each day for nearly a month. (read more)


Longtime Joe Strummer fan Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has covered "Long Shadow" from the posthumous Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros album, Streecore, to help celebrate what would have been the punk icon's 70th birthday this weekend.

Vedder had this to say about the cover, "I just think that what Joe did with the Mescaleros and those records, and those songs, and those words, it was a very communal sound. (read more)


(hennemusic) Aerosmith has expanded their 50th anniversary archival video series with footage of a 2003 concert in Detroit, MI. The video was unearthed from Aerosmith's legendary archive for the very first time and remastered in HD from the original master tapes.

The band was filmed live at the city's Comerica Park on September 7, 2003 while on their Rocksimus Maximus Tour, where they rocked classics like "Same Old Song And Dance", "Toys In The Attic" and "Walk This Way," as well as "Jaded," "Love In An Elevator," and "Pink." (read more)

(hennemusic) Creedence Clearwater Revival are sharing video of a Royal Albert Hall performance of "Fortunate Son" as the latest preview to a pair of projects detailing their 1970 show at iconic London venue.

The April 14, 1970 event saw CCR deliver hit after hit from three studio albums issued in less than a year: "Bayou Country", "Green River" and "Willie And The Poor Boys", and their self-titled 1968 debut. (read more)


(hennemusic) Whitesnake are streaming a 2022 remix of "Crying In The Rain", from their remastered "Greatest Hits" collection. The song first surfaced on the band's 1982 set, "Saints & Sinners", before being re-recorded for their 1987 self-titled album.

The "Greatest Hits" collection primarily features material from three studio records: 1984's "Slide It In", 1987's self-titled album and "Slip Of The Tongue", as well as featuring other deep cuts and rarities. (read more)
