(hennemusic) Ozzy Osbourne rocked the halftime show at the Los Angeles Rams NFL season opener at Sofi Stadium on September 8th and footage of his performance has been shared online.

The rocker appeared center stage alongside guitarist/producer Andrew Watt, bassist Chris Chaney and drummer Tommy Clufetos for the title track of his new album, "Patient Number 9", before Zakk Wylde joined the lineup for the classic, "Crazy Train." (read more)


(hennemusic) Sammy Hagar has released a video for "Funky Feng Shui", a track from his forthcoming album, "Crazy Times." Due September 30, the band recorded the follow-up to 2019's "Space Between" with producer Dave Cobb at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, TN.

"Funky Feng Shui was the first song I started writing for the Crazy Times record," says Hagar. "We recorded just the two verses I had written for the first Lockdown Sessions. When we got in the studio, David Cobb loved this song, so we finished it and it made the record. (read more)

(hennemusic) KISS are streaming "Off The Soundboard: Live In Des Moines 1977", in sync with its release on September 9. The event saw KISS deliver a 17-song set of tracks from their first six studio albums - from 1974's self-titled debut to 1977's "Love Gun."

The package captures the group's original lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss in performance on November 29, 1977 at the Iowa Veterans Memorial Auditorium as part of the band's Alive II tour. (read more)


Death Cab for Cutie has unveiled new song, "Rand McNally," available for exclusive, in-person listening anywhere the band has played throughout their storied 25-year career.

Starting yesterday, September 9th and continuing throughout the month of September, fans can unlock the track using an official geotagged map here - featuring over 800 locations across the globe - from the site of their first ever show at The Pacer House in Bellingham, WA to their headline show at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden, to venues as far from home as Tokyo's Astro Hall, and even those that have since closed their doors such as NY's Roseland Ballroom. Of Mice & Men have shared "Gravity (The Forgotten Remix)", which is another brand new remix of a song from their 2021 album "Echo", following the Becko remix of "OM&M".

"I love how The Forgotten was able to completely reinterpret the song, creating a lush, futuristic, and atmospheric landscape, all while staying completely connected to the emotional content at the core of the song," says Aaron Pauley. (read more)


(hennemusic) Triumph has launched a vinyl reissue series with the September 9th release of their 1981 album, "Allied Forces." "Allied Forces" is now available in multiple vinyl packages, including several limited-edition color options via the band's webstore.

Produced by the Canadian band, their fifth studio record - which featured the singles, "Magic Power", "Fight the Good Fight" and "Say Goodbye" - delivered the highest-charting US album in their history when it peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 on its way to platinum status in the region. Imagine Dragons celebrate the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut LP with Night Visions (Expanded Edition) (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope/UME).

Music icon Dolly Parton has teamed up with Kelly Clarkson for a brand new duet version of her hit song "9 to 5," ahead of the "Still Working 9 to 5" documentary (premiering September 16th).

Hard rocker Lexi Layne has released a music video for their song "Self Sabotage", from her "The Sinner and Saint" EP and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about the song. Here is the story:

"The Sinner and Saint EP" marked a difficult chapter in my life where I spent a lot of time battling inner demons. Back then, I struggled with self-doubt of constantly thinking I wasn't good enough or deserving of good things. All of these negative emotions were overwhelming and they led me to self sabotage in just about every relationship in my life, searching for love and validation outside of myself. My song "Self Sabotage" dives deep into what it was like in my brain at that time, where I had this voice inside me asking who was I going to let win: was I going to let my inner saboteur take over or was I going to overcome all the anxiety, fear and pain?
