(hennemusic) Queen has released a music video for "Face It Alone", a recently rediscovered 1988 song featuring previously-unheard vocals by Freddie Mercury.

Originally recorded during sessions for the group's 1989 album, "The Miracle", the song was unearthed when the band's production and archive team returned to those sessions to work on the upcoming box set reissue of the project. (read more)


(hennemusic) Guns N' Roses are streaming audio of a 1992 performance of their track, "Double Talkin' Jive", ahead of its inclusion in the forthcoming "Use Your Illusion I & II" box set.

The group were captured delivering the "Use Your Illusion I" track in concert at The Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV on January 25, 1992 during the extensive, multi-year world tour in support of both albums, which were released simultaneously in September of 1991. (read more)


Arctic Monkeys have announced a special YouTube livestream of their intimate performance at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY that took place last month.

The band took the stage at the historic 3000-capacity vent in Brooklyn, New York on September 22nd for their first North American headline performance of the year. (read more)


(hennemusic) Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers are streaming "The Fillmore House Band", a short film documenting the group's residency at the San Francisco, CA venue as heard on the forthcoming package, "Live At The Fillmore 1997."

Right from the start, the footage sets the vibe of the live series as fans can be seen arriving at the club, with some discovering for the first time that the band will be performing different set lists during each night of the 20-show run, with more details and video snippets of several songs featured along the away. Chelsea Grin have premiered the video for their new single "Forever Bloom," which features a guest appearance from the late Black Dahlia Murder vocalist Trevor Strnad.

Guitarist Stephen Rutishauser said of the track, "'Forever Bloom' is a fast-paced song with a whimsical edge to it, paying homage to some of our metal roots. (read more)

(hennemusic) Neil Young And Crazy Horse are sharing a music video for the song "Break The Chain", as the second single from their forthcoming album, "World Record."

Due November 18, the project was produced by Young and Rick Rubin and recorded live at Rubin's Shangri-La Studio in Malibu, CA. The recently-issued "Love Earth" served as the first preview to the project, which sees Young joined by bassist Billy Talbot, drummer Ralph Molina and guitarist Nils Lofgren. (read more)


Thomas Rhett has released his very first Christmas collection, with the arrival of the "Merry Christmas, Y'all", which just arrived digitally via The Valory Music Co.

The EP was produced by Dann Huff and features Rhett taking on the four Christmas classics, "Winter Wonderland", "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year", "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas." (read more)


The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month with the release of a new symphonic version of their RIAA certified 4x Platinum hit "Face Down."

A music video for the new version of the track will follow on Friday, October 28th. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is partnering with leading digital domestic violence resource, DomesticShelters.org, throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month and onward to raise awareness about domestic violence and share free resources for people experiencing abuse. Albuquerque, NM pop-punk act Savings recently released their new single, "I Found a Date for The Holidays (Maybe)", and to celebrate we asked Sam Wilmot about the track. Here is the story:

I was at band practice for a show we had later in the week in Albuquerque, New Mexico; talking to my bandmates about this girl at work that I was interested in. All of them continuously kept telling me to "leave it be, and if things were gonna transpire; they would.". Nonetheless, I took their advice and continued about my days. As I was on a lunch break from my work, I called my friend Dawson Holmes (writes the guitar parts) and told him I wanted to have a super bright and tappy sort of riff for this next single, he immediately got to writing.
