Killswitch Engage have announced the details for trio of holiday season shows that they are calling Holidaze Rager 2 that will feature support from Rivers of Nihil, Unearth, and a third act to be announced..

Holidaze Rager 2 will include stops at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ on December 28; at The Paramount in Huntington, NY on December 29; and a hometown show at The Palladium in Worcester, MA on December 30. (read more)


(hennemusic) Green Day are streaming audio of a previously-unreleased demo of "You Irritate Me", as the first preview to a series of expanded 25th anniversary editions of their 1997 album, "Nimrod."

Due January 27 in 5-CD, 3-LP and digital sets, the 2023 release will include the original album, one disc of previously unreleased "Nimrod" demos, and a live set from Philadelphia recorded one month after the album was released. (read more)

Bryan Adams has recruited Monty Python's Flying Circus legend John Cleese to provide the opening monologue for his brand new music video for the song "Kick Ass".

The track comes from Adams' latest album, "So Happy It Hurts", which was released earlier this year and will be the basis for a brand new deluxe edition that will hit stores on October 28th. (read more)


Bayside have announced that they will be hitting the road for their Just Like Home Tour, named after a track on their brand new release, "The Red EP".

The tour lineup pays homage to the band's local scene, with fellow New Yorkers I Am The Avalanche and Koyo providing support on the month long run. (read more)


Velvet Chains have shared their new song "Time Stood Still" and announced the Friday, October 21 release of the six-song EP Morbid Dreams.

"Time Stood Still" was produced, mixed & mastered by Grammy Award-nominated and Juno Award-winning producer Kane Churko (Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Skillet) and recorded at The Hideout Recording in the band's Vegas hometown. Co-written by multi-platinum songwriter Drew Lawrence (Lindsey Stirling, Christina Perri) and the band's bassist/founder Nils Goldschmidt, "Time Stood Still" starts and ends tensely with eerie guitar sounds and possesses an explosive chorus with full-on guitar crunch and searing vocals by frontman Ro Viper, who sings, "I've been going down the darkest path." One of the highlights to Carrie Underwood's recently launched The Demin & Rhinestones North American Tour is her cover of the Guns N' Roses classic "Welcome To The Jungle".

Earlier this year, Carrie surprised fans at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, Ca when she brought out Axl Rose to join her to perform the Guns N' Roses hits "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Paradise City". (read more)


(hennemusic) Journey are streaming a lyric video for "Beautiful As You Are", which is the brand new single from their latest album, "Freedom." "So excited to share this with you," says the band. "Thanks for loving this song as much as we do."

The clip arrives in sync with Journey announcing dates for a 2023 tour of North America. The band will launch the 3-month series - with special guests Toto - in Allentown, PA on February 4. (read more)


(hennemusic) Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers are sharing audio of a stripped-down performance of "I Won't Back Down" from the forthcoming release of "Live at the Fillmore 1997."

Due November 25, the project captures the band during the last six nights of a 20-show residency at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco, CA in the period following their 1996 soundtrack record, "Songs and Music from 'She's The One'". (read more)


(hennemusic) Alter Bridge members Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti recently performed an exclusive acoustic version of "Silver Tongue" at the Planet Rock studios in central London, UK for a handful of listeners, and video from the appearance is available to stream online.

The pair delivered the stripped down take on the second single from the Florida band's newly-released album, "Pawns & Kings", while telling the audience that this was only the second time they'd ever attempted to play 'Silver Tongue' acoustically: "These songs are not acoustic songs!" (read more)
