Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine says in a new interview that the release of the band's forthcoming album, "The Sick, The Dying And The Dead", has been pushed back to this summer.

Mustaine made the comments during an interview with Forbes after he was asked about a possible second leg of their Metal Tour Of Year with Lamb Of God, Trivium and In Flames. (read more)


Painted Shield have released their brand new single "Dead Man's Dream" and announced the release of their sophomore album, "Painted Shield 2," which will be hitting stores on April 22nd

The band features acclaimed songwriter Mason Jennings, Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam), Matt Chamberlain (ex-Pearl Jam), and singer/keyboardist Brittany Davis. (read more)


(hennemusic) Ghost performed the live debut of their cover of the Metallica classic, "Enter Sandman", during a January 25 concert in Reno, NV and fan filmed footage has been shared online.

The band recorded a studio version of the track for the 2021 collection, "The Metallica Blacklist", which featured interpretations of songs from The Black Album from more than 50 artists spanning a vast range of genres, generations, cultures, continents and more; all profits from the project will be split evenly between Metallica's non-profit Foundation and 50+ charities chosen by the artists who play on the album. Meshuggah have premiered their brand new single "The Abysmal Eye." The track comes from the band's forthcoming album, "Immutable", which will be hitting stores on April 1st.

Bloc Party have released a music video for their brand new single "The Girls Are Fighting." The track comes from their forthcoming album, Alpha Games", which will arrive on April; 29th.

"The Girls Are Fighting" video was filmed at the legendary Repton Boxing Club, an old Victorian Bath House in East London's Bethnal Green turned boxing club, where the Kray twins famously trained, according to the announcement. (read more)


Montgomery Gentry icon Eddie Montgomery has released a digital deluxe edition his debut solo album, "Ain't No Closing Me Down," following its exclusive release on CD last Fall at Walmart.

The new deluxe digital edition includes a brand new song called "You Pissed Me All The Way Off," written by Jim "Moose" Brown and Travis Meadows, and Eddie has released a lyric video for his duet with Tanya Tucker called "Higher". (read more)


Carpenter Brut has released a video for his new song "Imaginary Fire", which features guest vocals from Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Killer Be Killed, The Black Queen).

The song comes from Brut's forthcoming album, "Leather Terror," which is the second record in his "Leather" album trilogy, and it set to be released on April 1st. (read more)
