Ghost have announced that they will host a special Live From The Ministry streaming event to celebrate the release of their new album, "Impera".

The "Impera Release Ritual" will be taking place this Thursday, March 10th at 2 p.m. EST on their official YouTube channel, ahead of the album's release on Friday, March 11th. (read more)


The Red Hot Chili Peppers have premiered a music video for their brand new single "Poster Child." The comes from their forthcoming album, "Unlimited Love", which will arrive April 1st.

The album is the first to feature the return of guitarist John Frusciante. He had this to say, "When we got together to start writing material, we began by playing old songs by people like Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, The Kinks, The New York Dolls, Richard Barrett and others. (read more)


(hennemusic) Keith Richards is streaming a lyric video for "999", a track featured on the forthcoming expanded 30th anniversary reissue of his 1992 album, "Main Offender."

Due March 18, the 2022 release includes a remastered version of the studio record by original producer and drummer Steve Jordan, who also mixed and produced the bonus concert recording "Winos Live In London '92", which captures the group live at the Town & Country Club in Kentish Town. Shinedown have scored their 18th No. 1 hit at Active Rock Radio this week with the title track of their forthcoming album, "Planet Zero," which comes out April 22nd on Atlantic Records.

The single is also Shinedown's 17th No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs Chart, breaking a new record (which they also previously held) for the most No. 1s in the 40-year history of the chart and tying Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers for the second most Top 10s on the chart, behind only Foo Fighters. Generation Kill have released a music video for their latest single "Dogs of War", which features a guest appearance from John Joseph of Cromags and Bloodclot fame.

The song comes from Generation Kill's new album, "MKUltra". Rob Dukes had this to say abou the single, "'Dogs of War' was so much fun to write and create with the boys. (read more)


Visions Of Atlantis have premiered a music video for their new song "Legions Of The Seas", which is the lead single from their forthcoming album, "Pirates" (due May 13th).

The band had this to say about the track and the cinematic video, "Legion of The Seas" is a statement song that embodies the mindset we carry throughout the entire record. No matter what we are facing, we remain the masters of ourselves and our lives. (read more)


Jon Pardi set an attendance record with his sold out debut appearance at RodeoHouston this past Saturday night, selling 72,859 tickets, the highest paid attendance of the year so far.

Pardi was supposed to perform in 2020 until COVID cut that season short and 2021's rodeo was canceled. After a long two years, Pardi was finally able to make his debut on the rotating stage. (read more)


Dark Funeral have shared a music video for their new track "Leviathan". The song comes from their forthcoming album "We Are The Apocalypse", which will be released March 18th.

Lead vocalist Heljarmadr had this to say about the new single, "I immediately heard the ocean when I was listening to the intro for the track, so I wrote from that place and I began to see this place that I was hearing. (read more)


Nashville based music star Erinn Peet Lukes just released her new EP, "EPL", and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about the song "Dime A Dozen". Here is the story:

"Dime a Dozen" was one of those special songs that came out all at once, and I didn't edit it much at all once I wrote it. It came out after I got a text from someone I used to date who essentially ghosted me. He asked me how my music was going. It was early in the pandemic, so I texted back that he was only texting me because he was bored and lonely. He claimed that he was just texting me because he "cared about my music." That's where the first line comes from: "You don't care about my music/you don't care about my heart." The song ended up becoming something I've wanted to say in many of my relationships, which is, essentially, you want me to be there for you, not the other way around. (continue)


Alice In Chains and Breaking Benjamin have announced that they will be teaming up for the first time for a U.S. co-headlining tour this summer and fall that will also feature special guest Bush.

The 30-city trek is scheduled to kick off on August 10th at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA and will conclude on October 8th in Mansfield, MA at the Xfinity Center. (read more)


The Foo Fighters have announced that they will be heading down under this fall for a new tour leg in Australia and New Zealand to promote their latest album "Medicine At Midnight".

The trek is scheduled to kick off on November 30th in Perth at HBF Park and will conclude on December in Auckland, NZ at Western Springs. Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 10th at various local times. (read more)


ZZ Top have announced that they will be releasing their new album, "Raw", on July 22nd and will be hitting the road to promote the effort with the Raw Whisky Tour. We were sent the following details:

RAW was recorded in connection with the band's wildly popular and critically lauded 2019 Netflix documentary That Little Ol' Band From Texas. The Grammy-nominated feature from Banger Films and director Sam Dunn includes an interlude that finds the group's classic line up -- Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and the late Dusty Hill -- gathering for a very intimate session at Gruene Hall, "the oldest continually run dance hall in Texas". That performance provided the basis for the RAW album release. (read more)


Asking Alexandria and Nothing More have announced that they will be teaming up for a North American co-headline tour that will feature support from Atreyu and Eva Under Fire.

They will be launching the trek on May 13th in Kansas City, MO at the Uptown Theater and will wrap up on June 19th in Houston, TX at the House of Blues. (read more)


Florence + the Machine have released a music video for their brand new single "Heaven is Here." The song is the follow-up to "King", which was released last month.

The music video was directed by Autumn de Wilde and choreographed by Ryan Heffington. Florence Welch had this to say, "'Heaven is Here' was the first song I wrote in lockdown after an extended period of not being able to get to the studio. (read more)


The Libertines / Babyshambles' Peter Doherty is returning to music with a new collaboration album with Frederic Lo and duo have shared a video for their new single.

The track is entitled "The Epidemiologist," and it comes from their forthcoming album, "The Fantasy Life of Poetry & Crime", which is due out March 18th. (read more)


The 45th anniversary of Foreigner's self-titled debut album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

Redbeard had this to say, "This one was a 'sleeper'. The debut album by the new group Foreigner came out in March 1977 without fanfare. Rock nerds like me recognized guitarist/co-writer Mick Jones' name from the English blues/rock band Spooky Tooth, but that had zero resonance in the US. (read more)
