Duran Duran have announced that they will be launching a North American tour this summer that will feature support from Nile Rodgers & CHIC on select dates.

The 14-date tour is set to kick off on August 19th in Welch, MN at the Treasure Island Amphitheater and will wrap up with a three night stand at the Hollywood Bowl on September 9th, 10th and 11th. (read more)


Cave In have released a music video for their brand new single "New Reality", which is a track from the band's first new studio album in over a decade.

The new record, which will be entitled "Heavy Pendulum," will be released by Relapse Records on May 20th in various formats including digitally, double LP vinyl, CD and a deluxe 2LP vinyl edition. (read more)


(hennemusic) Glenn Tipton joined his Judas Priest bandmates during a March 12 concert at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA and fan filmed video of the jam has been shared online.

The rare appearance from Tipton - who retired from extensive touring a few years ago due to the effects of Parkinson's Disease - saw the guitarist take the stage for the group's encore, which featured classic tracks "Metal Gods", "Breaking The Law" and "Living After Midnight". (read more)


Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand have announced that they will be returning to North America this summer to launch their first U.S. tour since 2018.

The band will be embarking on the trek to promote their 20-track greatest hits package, "Hits to The Head", which was released in various formats last Friday (March 11th). (read more)


Jack White has announced a variety of special guests for his forthcoming Supply Chain Issues Tour, which will mark his first headline shows in four years.

The North American tour leg will be kicking off with a sold-out two night stand at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit on April 8th and 9th, and will wrap up on August 29th in Kansas City, MO at the Starlight Theatre. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Scorpions are streaming a lyric video for "Roots In My Boots," which is a track that comes from the band's newly-released album, "Rock Believer."

Co-produced by the Scorpions and Hans-Martin Buff, the group recorded their nineteenth studio record in their hometown of Hannover, Germany during the pandemic. (read more)


Kenny Dubman released a music video for his brand new single "Modern Day Jesus." The song is the second track shared from his forthcoming album, "Conflicted", which will arrive on May 17th.

Dubman had this to say about the theme of the song, "'Modern Day Jesus' poses the question....what if Jesus was actually a random person that walked among us...and his purpose on earth was to simply to absorb as much of mankind's ills as possible, to keep us from going over the edge as a species...but there's just so much of it, that even HE is getting overwhelmed? The answer might just be to do better as human beings." (read more)


Beth Hart has added four additional dates to her UK spring tour that is set to take place next March. The news comes as Hart just released her "A Tribute To Led Zeppelin" album.

The new dates include Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (Tuesday 7 March), Sheffield City Hall (Saturday 11 March), Manchester Bridgwater Hall (Monday 13 March) and Brighton Dome (Tuesday 21 March). (read more)


Flogging Molly and The Interrupters have announced that are teaming up this summer for a U.S. coheadlining tour that will feature support from Tiger Army and The Skints.

The trek is scheduled to get underway on June 7th in Indianapolis at the TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park and will finish up on September 21st in Paso Robles, Ca at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre, with tickets going on sale this Friday, March 18th at 10 AM local time. (read more)


Robert Fripp's "Washington Square Church" is set to be released on CD/DVD on April 29th. The DVD features the material in 24/48 hi-res stereo and DTS-HD Surround Sound (Quad 4.1) and a 2LP edition will be presented on 200 gram vinyl and has been cut by Jason Mitchel at LOUD Mastering.

A new set of Frippertronics from 1981 will be released in CD/DVD and 2LP format in April 2022. These live Frippertronics performances have been taken from recordings in New York City between July and August 1981 and have been mixed and produced by David Singleton from audio painstakingly restored by Alex R Mundy.
