Elton John has announced what will be the final dates of his North American Farewell Yellow Brick Road The Final Tour, which have been added to his previously announced stadium dates.

The newly announced shows will include concerts in East Rutherford, NJ, Foxborough, MA, Toronto, ON, Vancouver, BC, and Phoenix, AZ, along with a THIRD show added at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. Due to overwhelming demand, stops in Santa Clara, CA, San Diego, CA, and Tacoma, WA. (read more)


Switchfoot have announced that will be teaming up with Collective Soul for a massive tour across the U.S., which will mark the very first time that two iconic bands have toured together.

The trek is set to kick off in Gary, IN on July 15th at the Hard Rock Casino and will be wrapping up on September 24th in San Antonio, TX at the Majestic Theatre. (read more)


Mick Jagger has co-written, recorded and performed the theme song for the highly anticipated Apple Original series "Slow Horses," with Academy Award-nominated film composer Daniel Pemberton. The brand-new track, titled Strange Game, will be released on Friday, 1 April 2022 via Polydor Records / Universal Music to coincide with the series premiere of "Slow Horses," which will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, April 1.

Based on a series of acclaimed books by Mick Herron and starring Academy-Award winner Gary Oldman, "Slow Horses" follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 - Slough House on the outskirts of London. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career ending mistakes. The six-part series also stars Kristen Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Olivia Cook and Jack Lowden. (read more)


Halestorm have announced that they will be returning to the road this summer for an American tour that will feature special guests The Pretty Reckless, The Warning, and Lilith Czar on select dates.

The 16-city tour is set to kick off on July 8th at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Detroit and will conclude in Portsmouth at Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion on August 12th. (read more)

After launched the series in North American in 2019, the rocker was originally scheduled to play the UK shows in the spring of 2020, but the series was cancelled as the pandemic began impacting daily life and industries round the globe. Voivod have announced that they will be hitting the road this summer for a North American tour to promote their brand new album "Synchro Anarchy".

(hennemusic) Neil Young is expanding his ongoing Official Bootleg Series with three live shows from the early 1970s.

The series - which launched last fall with a 1970 performance at Carnegie Hall - will continue this spring with the release of a pair of 1971 recordings from Los Angeles and a 1974 show at New York City's The Bottom Line club. (read more)


LA-based indie rockers Yony, spearheaded by Mike Cionni, just released their new album, "More Truth In Fiction", and to celebrate we asked Mike to tell us about the effort. Here is Mike with the Behind The Album:

More Truth in Fiction came to mean a lot of things by the time we finished the album, but at first the vision was clear-ish. Non-fiction tells factual stories of actual people and events-some of which have been witnessed on a massive scale- from the perspective of a single person, or publisher. The older the story, the further removed. Fiction does the exact opposite, taking one person's imagination and broadcasting it to the world. There is no event, just an idea for the reader to experience in their own way. That experience is authentic. (read more)
