Original Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and guitarist Chris Poland have reunited and recorded one final song posthumously with their friend and former Megadeth bandmate Gar Samuelson.

The new track "The Raven" comes from the "Fatal Opera 3", a new twelve-song collection of demo material from Gars' post Megadeth band Fatal Opera, which was released by Ellefson's rebooted Combat Records. (read more)


New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert took to social media on Friday, January 28th, to share the news that he has been declared "officially cancer free."

Gilbert underwent cancer surgery back in December. He took to Instagram on Friday to update fans on his recovering and shared the big news about his cancer. (read more)

The band took to social media on Friday to stream a snippet of the opening instrumental section of a track from the project, which will see the return of guitarist John Frusciante after a 10-year absence from the lineup. (read more)


Beth Hart has shared her reinterpretation of Led Zeppelin classic "Black Dog, which is one of the songs that appears on her forthcoming "A Tribute To Led Zeppelin" album that is hitting stores on February 25th.

We were sent the following details: As a child, the sound of Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog" traveled from the Grammy-nominated vocalist Beth Hart's neighbor's house into her orbit. Her brother introduced her to the heavy rock of Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, and her major-label debut came on Atlantic with the 1996 release of 'Immortal' - the same label that introduced Led Zeppelin to the world in 1969. Light The Torch celebrated kicking off their tour with frontman Howard Jones' former band Killswitch Engage, as well as August Burns Red, by shared a new video.

The music video is for their track "Death Of Me", which is the group's new single and comes from their latest studio album, "You Will Be The Death Of Me", that arrived last June. (read more)


The Maine have released a music video for their brand new song, "Loved You A Little", which features guest appearances from Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara and Charlotte Sands.

(hennemusic) Metallica are sharing pro-shot video of a performance of their 1984 rarity, "Trapped Under Ice", from the first of two sold-out 40th anniversary concerts last month in San Francisco, CA.

The December 17 event at the city's Chase Center saw Metallica play the "Ride The Lightning" track for the first time since 2012, while delivering at least one song from each studio album as part of a set list that was structured in chronological order. (read more)


Staind frontman Aaron Lewis will celebrate the release of his brand new solo album, "Frayed at Both Ends", with an appearance on Fox & Friends on Monday, January 31th.

The Fox News Channel morning show appearance will include a performance of "Everybody Talks To God" that was taped at an intimate concert for the troops at Kentucky's Fort Campbell, and Aaron will talk about the new album, his commitment to country music and his stripped down Frayed at Both Ends, The Acoustic Tour. Pattern-Seeking Animals have released a music video for their new song "I Can't Stay Here Anymore". The track is the first single from their forthcoming album, "Only Passing Through".

The new record, the follow-up to their 2020 effort "Prehensile Tales", is set to be released by InsideOutMusic on April 1st. (read more)


Kane Brown fans across the world will be able to watch take the stage at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles for his very first live performance at the venue via a global livestream.

Brown is teaming up with AEG Presents and Amazon Music for the special streaming event called "Kane Brown Live from the El Rey Theatre", that will be taking place on Friday, February 4th. (read more)


(hennemusic) Queen are revisiting their connection with Nelson Mandela in the latest episode of the band's 50th anniversary video series The Greatest. In 2003, a call came through from Mandela, asking for Queen's help with a concert for AIDS awareness in Cape Town, South Africa. But, he wasn't just asking for them to perform....

"We answered the call to Madiba," explains Brian May. "Nelson Mandela is suddenly on the phone saying 'can you rescue my concert', and we produced it for him, and we went out there and we really didn't imagine that the by-product would be that we would be re-engaging with an audience." Generation Kill have released their brand new studio album, "MKUltra", which frontman and former Exodus vocalist Rob Dukes says is "one of the best things I've done in my musical career".

Dukes continues, "Jay Velez and Jay Trenzer wrote some killer riffs for me to pen lyrics on and Max Velez and Rob Youells put down the bottom end to bring this all together. Once again we focused on giving the listener a rollercoaster ride. Each song has its own pace and when the record is listened to as a whole, it takes you on that ride- it's not a drag race, it has up and downs. (read more)


Sueco has released a music video for his brand new single, "Loser." The track comes from his forthcoming album, "It Was Fun While It Lasted", which will be hitting stores on March 4th,

"Loser" is billed as a pop punk anthem and was produced by John Feldmann (Machine Gun Kelly, blink-182, jxdn), dwilly (Royal & The Serpent, Trevor Daniel, bbno$) and Colin "DOC" Brittain (5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, Papa Roach). (read more)
