Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash believes that the band will release one or two new songs this summer around the time that the band launches their next tour.

The iconic guitarist made the comments while speaking with Heavy Consequence about the brand new Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators album, "4." (read more)


Rock legends The Who have announced that they will unplug for a special acoustic performance at this year's Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Friday March 25th, 2022.

They shared these details: Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will front an acoustic band featuring Simon Townshend, Phil Spalding, Jodie Linscott, Billy Nicholls, Geraint Watkins, Charlie Hart and Andy Cutting, performing some Who classics, rarities and all-time favorites - it promises to be a fantastic night. The 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band's hallmark "Eat A Peach" album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

Host Redbeard had this to say, "The legendary Allman Brothers Band had officially disbanded even prior to the deaths of drummer Butch Trucks and singer/ organist Gregg Allman in 2017, but to this day I still marvel how it all could have possibly continued for almost half a century after what happened so early on at a critical launching point in the band's career during the making of their fourth album, Eat a Peach , released fifty years ago. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, The Lumineers, and Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks lead the lineup for the inaugural Sound On Sound Music Festival.

The event is scheduled to take place September 24th and 25th, 2022 on the bank of the Long Island Sound at Seaside Park, Bridgeport, CT and will feature 22+ artists over two stages with no overlapping sets. (read more)


Bomber Alley have released their cover of the classic Def Leppard "High 'n' Dry" album track "Lady Strange" as the follow up to their previous single "We Get By".

The cover was produced by Dee Snider's solo band drummer and producer, Nicky Bellmore at Dexters Lab Recording in Milford, CT. Russell Pzutto, bassist of Dee Snider's solo band had this to say about playing on this track, "Bomber Alley definitely delivered for their rendition of 'Lady Strange' an old favorite of mine ! It was my pleasure to throw down bass tracks and add the bottom end to the song!" (read more)


Cursive frontman Tim Kasher has released a self-directed video for his new single "I Don't Think About You" (ft. vocals by Megan Siebe), which is the lead single from his fourth solo album, Middling Age."

Kasher's new album will be released on April 15th. He had this to say about the first single from the effort, "'I Don't Think About You' is a song that came together fairly quickly for me as I absentmindedly hummed the title over and over again whilst working out the chords. (read more)


Hot off the heals from their successful February 2022 UK tour, King King are pleased to announce they will perform more concerts in the UK during July and October 2022.

Dates include Lytham Lowther Pavilion (July 28), Holmfirth Picturedrome (July 29), Castleton Devil's Arse Cave (July 30), Northampton Roadmender (October 16) and Southampton 1865 (October 20), and Liverpool Grand Central Hall (October 21). (read more)


The Flower Kings have premiered a music video for their brand new single "Revolution", which features a guest appearance from Jonas Lindberg.

The track comes from the band's forthcoming 15th studio album "By Royal Decree" that will be hitting stores on March 4th, 2022. Roine had this to say about the song, "The songs on the new double album come from a whole lot of different places in time and space, often a combination of themes gathered from older ideas born before The Flower Kings emerged in 1994, mixed with brand new ideas. Brisbane rockers Waxflower have released a brand new track called "Ring." The track is the follow-up to the band's last single "Soak", which arrived late last year.

Waxflower frontman Tristan Higginson says that the new single "is a self-affirmation. A reminder to myself that it's worth fighting odds, industry and enemies to keep my creative passion alive." (read more)


Trollfest have premiered a humorous mixed green-screen animated music video for their new track "Twenty Miles An Hour", a song from their forthcoming album, "Flamingo Overlord".

The band just announced that they will be releasing their ninth full-length studio album, entitled Flamingo Overlord, via Napalm Records on May 27, 2022. (read more)

Owls & Aliens have released a music video for their brand new single "Tsunami". The music video shot on the coast of Florence, OR was filmed and edited by Scotty Fischer of Sleeper Studios.

They had this to say about the track, "Tsunami' has an optimistic and uplifting feel as it's about making the conscious choice to get back up when life kicks you down. (read more)


Lia Caton has shared her first new song release of the year with a track called "I Keep My Eyes On You," which comes from her forthcoming album.

Caton had this to say about the new single, "This song is about how we all go through hard times in life and spend some time in 'the valley'. For me, it's my faith in God and my family that helps to pull me through. I keep my eyes focused on them and what is important to bring me peace." (read more)


Rising Nashville star Onoleigh has shared her latest single, "Beautifully Broken", which was released to all streaming platforms last Friday, February 18th and she co-wrote the track with producer Brandon Hood (Sam Hunt, Rascall Flatts, Jimmie Allen).

She had this to say about the track, "This song is about the mistrials of love; the ins and outs you have to go through if you ever want to get it right. It's knowing that whoever I'm with has to love not only who I am in that moment, but everything that brought me there." (read more)


Australian rockers Void of Vision have released a music video for their brand new single "Dominatrix," which is the follow-up to their 2021 EP "Chronicles I: Lust".

Frontman Jack Bergin had this to say about the new track, "The process began with that simple chorus vocal hook and ended up with our most adventurous attempt at a piece of work yet. I have never written, or attempted to pen a 'love song' before but this one just came extremely easily to me. (read more)

The Asbury Park-based songwriting team of former Psychic TV bassist Alice Genese and Shaune Pony Heath, who operate as Ov Stars, are releasing their debut, Tuesdays.

The five-song EP was produced, engineered and mixed by Jeff Berner, another alumnus of Psychic TV, at Studio G Brooklyn and Palace Of Sports. Tuesdays will be released as a download and on streaming platforms April 23, and on limited edition colored vinyl later in the year. (read more)


Canadian rockers Necronomicon have announced that they will be teaming up with The Convalescence this spring to launch Their Legacy In Blood North American Tour.

The trek is set to kick off on April 29th in Kalamazoo, MI at Papa Pete's and will conclude on June 4th in Chesterfield, MI at the Diesel Concert Lounge. The tour will feature support from Alukah, Reflection Of Flesh, and Psycho Mantis. (read more)
